I am writing this review to strongly advise against staying at Kensington Suites. My 3-night experience was nothing short of a nightmare, and the hotel staff's attitude was completely unacceptable. This place is far from a "suite" or even a 3-star hotel; it feels more like a dingy lodge you might find near a bus stop. The negative points began the moment I checked in. The room was far from clean; I found and killed at least five cockroaches during my stay. This is a severe health and hygiene issue that should not be present in any hospitality establishment. To make matters worse, there was no hand wash provided, and the towels were visibly dirty. The lighting in the room was also very poor, making the overall environment feel gloomy and uninviting. On top of the cleanliness problem, the hotel has an incredibly stingy policy regarding basic amenities. They provided only a single water bottle for my entire 3-night stay. When I requested more, I was told I would have to pay ₹50 for a 1-liter bottle, which is a ridiculous charge for something that should be a complimentary service. The worst part of my stay, however, was on the third day. The air conditioning in my room stopped working in the morning. I informed the staff, but my complaint was ignored. When I returned at 10 PM, exhausted from my day, the AC was still not working. After complaining again, they finally agreed to change my room. I had to pack all my belongings and move to a new room at 10:45 PM. To my horror, the AC in the new room was also not working. Frustrated, I went to the reception to get some help. The staff there was completely unresponsive. A person named Yeshwanth Yadav then approached me, and his behavior was shockingly rude. He told me to check out immediately, at 11:15 PM, and find another hotel. He had the audacity to say, "You just paid ₹1000 per room and are asking for everything, just go out." When I requested the manager's number to escalate the issue, they refused to provide it. I was not asking for much—just for the AC to be turned on so I could get some rest. They told me to "just adjust" to the heat. When I asked for a partial refund as compensation for the terrible service and discomfort, Yeshwanth promised to handle it in the morning. The next day, he completely dismissed me, saying he didn't care what I did. I booked this hotel because of a special offer, but the service I received was the worst I have ever experienced. From unclean rooms with dirty towels and poor lighting, to a lack of basic amenities, a complete disregard for customer comfort, and shockingly rude staff, I would never recommend this hotel to anyone. Read moreI recently visited Pepe's Pizza in AECS and had an incredibly disappointing experience. Firstly, I ordered garlic bread, extravaganza pizza, and red sauce pasta. However, instead of the pasta I requested, they served me macaroni in some ready-made sauce. Furthermore, the pasta lacked the vegetables that were clearly mentioned in the menu. This was a letdown.
The disappointment continued with the pizza. It was poorly assembled on a pre-made pizza base and had a meager topping of just corn, onion, and paneer. The vegetables were neither baked nor properly cooked, resulting in a subpar taste and texture.
To make matters worse, the garlic bread was far from satisfactory. It did not meet my expectations in terms of flavor and quality.
Moreover, the restaurant's dining area was extremely uncomfortable. It had a closed setting with only five tables and lacked proper ventilation. Despite the server's claim that the AC was working, it was evident that the air conditioning system was not functioning properly. The temperature inside was unbearably hot and suffocating.
When I requested to speak with the manager or owner to provide feedback, they outright refused and mentioned that the manager was unavailable. This lack of accountability was highly disappointing.
Additionally, when I attempted to settle the bill in cash, I faced yet another inconvenience. The restaurant did not have sufficient change available, which further added to the frustration.
Overall, the food at Pepe's Pizza in AECS was of poor quality and taste. The ambiance was uncomfortable, with the non-functional AC making it even worse. Read moreWe had a very disappointing experience during our stay. This was not the premium room we had booked, and the service was extremely poor. We made our reservation two weeks in advance and even informed them about our arrival earlier on the same day, yet when we checked in at 9 PM, the room was not even cleaned.
The pillow covers were dirty, the refrigerator was leaking, and the TV wasn’t working. These issues were only attended to around 10 PM. After a long day of travel, we were exhausted and didn’t get any comfort or privacy upon arrival. Even after their so-called “fix,” the TV still didn’t work properly and the AC kept turning off on its own.
On the last day, there was a power outage from 7 AM to 11 AM, and shockingly, there was no backup electricity. For a place claiming to offer premium services, this was unacceptable.
Also, the room and washroom were extremely congested, nothing like the photos shown on their website and Instagram. The pictures were totally misleading and gave the impression of a spacious, well-maintained room — which was not the reality at all. It felt like complete cheating.
