Rajputana, Brookfield – A Regal Culinary Experience in the Heart of the City As a passionate food blogger always on the hunt for authentic flavors and memorable dining experiences, I recently had the pleasure of visiting Rajputana, located in the bustling Brookfield area. True to its name, Rajputana offers a culinary journey inspired by the rich heritage and royal kitchens of Rajasthan, and it did not disappoint. Ambience Stepping into Rajputana feels like entering a different era. The decor is a tasteful blend of Rajasthani royal charm and modern elegance — think intricately carved wooden furniture, warm earthy tones, traditional wall art, and soft lighting. The space is equally perfect for a cozy family dinner or an elegant evening out with friends. Special mention to the background music: subtle folk tunes that add to the immersive experience. Service The staff at Rajputana were warm, attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu. From the moment we arrived to the time we left, the service was impeccable without being intrusive — a key ingredient in making any dining experience truly memorable. Food Now, onto the star of the show — the food. Starters: We began with the Laal Maas Samosas and Paneer Tikka. The samosas were crisp on the outside, generously filled with tender spicy meat — a brilliant fusion twist. The paneer was marinated beautifully and grilled to perfection. Mains: For the main course, we ordered the signature Laal Maas, Gatta Curry, and Dal Baati Churma. The Laal Maas was fiery yet balanced, with succulent pieces of mutton steeped in a rich, deep-red gravy. Gatta Curry, a personal favorite, featured soft besan dumplings in a flavorful yogurt-based curry. The Dal Baati Churma was authentic and hearty — the baatis were perfectly baked, the dal was comforting, and the churma added that delightful sweet finish. Breads & Rice: We paired the curries with Missi Roti and Jodhpuri Pulao — both excellent choices. Dessert: The meal concluded with a divine serving of Ghevar with Rabdi, a must-try for anyone with a sweet tooth. Light, crispy, and drenched in creamy rabdi — it was the perfect end to a royal meal. Value for Money Given the quality of ingredients, portion sizes, presentation, and the overall dining experience, I found Rajputana to be reasonably priced. It offers great value, especially considering it’s a niche cuisine not always done well. Rajputana, Brookfield, is a gem for those looking to explore authentic Rajasthani cuisine in an elegant setting. The combination of rich flavors, warm service, and beautiful ambience makes it a place I would wholeheartedly recommend — whether you’re a fan of North Indian cuisine or simply want to try something new. I’m already planning my next visit — there are still many dishes on the menu I want to try! Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐☆ (4.5/5)

Rajwadi in Brookfield, Bangalore, is more than just a restaurant; it's a portal to the vibrant flavors of Rajasthan. Stepping into this establishment, you're greeted by the aroma of pure ghee, the traditional cooking fat that forms the heart of Rajasthani cuisine. Here, authenticity reigns supreme, offering a delightful journey for your taste buds, whether you're a seasoned foodie or a curious explorer. The stars of the show at Rajwadi are undoubtedly their classic Rajasthani dishes. Their malai ghevar is a must-try. This melt-in-your-mouth disc of fried dough, soaked in rich malai (cream) and syrup, is a true testament to their expertise. The dal bati churma, a hearty combination of lentil stew, steamed bread, and crumbled flatbread, is another must-order, offering a symphony of textures and flavors. Beyond the Classics: While Rajwadi prides itself on its Rajasthani heritage, they recently expanded their menu to include a surprising selection of Indian Chinese dishes. We embarked on a culinary adventure by trying their noodles, fried rice, babycorn Manchurian, and crispy honey potatoes. The food quality was impressive, with fresh ingredients and flavors that satisfied our Chinese cravings. No Rajasthani exploration is complete without indulging in their iconic street food - chaats. Rajwadi doesn't disappoint in this department either. We tried the raj kachori and dahi puri, both exploding with flavor and textures. The crispy puris, tangy chutneys, creamy dahi, and savory fillings were a delightful dance on our palates. Rajwadi offers a unique culinary experience, blending the rich heritage of Rajasthan with a surprising twist of Chinese flavors. The use of pure ghee adds a distinct richness and depth to their dishes, while the quality of ingredients and preparation ensures a satisfying meal. Whether you're craving classic Rajasthani delights, a taste of Chinese, or a chaat-tastic snack, Rajwadi has something to offer everyone.

Experience the delicious Gujrati-Kadthiawadi thali experience in this brand new extension of the already famous Rajwadi restaurant at AECS layout, Kundlahalli, ITPL road. Just recently visited this place with bright royal ambience and plush seating, shining tableware, delicious menu ans good service. The thali is completely vegetarian, with all the lipsmacking items like dhokla, muthia, pakoras, papdi chaat, chutnies, pickles, different salads, 2 daals, kadhi, buttermilk, different rotis, Puri, 4 different varieties of curries, raita, rice, and more. For dessert, they served angoori gulab Jamuns and gajar halwa which tasted very good. In curries the gawar dhokli, paneer subji and Punjabi kadhi were bang on. Finish the meal with sweet saunf mouth freshner! Seating is plush, comfy and spacious. Service was prompt. Parking may be a challenge as the layout is busy and bustling with lots of eating joints and grocery shops. The ground floor of Rajwadi has an extensive menu of chaats, snacks, meals, punjabi, gujrati ,Rajasthani and Street food along with juices, shakes, icecreams and many more choices. All in all , it was a delicious and mouthwatering meal for sure.

I got very mixed experience at this place. Let me start with ambiance. The decorations at the shop was very good. But they have clubbed a restaurant with a sweet shop, which is not an ideal setup. The lights are very beautiful for shop but harsh for restaurant. The sense of music was way too bad. The bad and loud music made the place very chaotic. I would not want to sit and have dinner in such a light condition and such a loud sound. The shopkeeper was very nice and she was trying her best to take care of all the gusts in her shop. In other hand the waiters were full of attitude. If I was the owner of shop, I would have fired all the waiters without wasting even a single minute. In stay of an hour their waiters attempted twice to prove that I was lying to them. Why the heck any customer would do it? When I complaint about a particular item, the waiter said to me that I do not have good sense of food to admire their best cooking. The waiter also told me to stand at the billing counter and count their number of sales. Shop owner should monitor such idiots and take necessary disciplinary action. Coming to food. Few items were awesome, Paneer Bhuna Masala, Lachchha Paratha, Daal Makhani, Matar Paneer, Butter Naan, Parwal Sweet these were very good. Paneer Tikka (starter) was just average, there was nothing great about it. Last but not the least, Kulcha & Chhole was disgusting. I pity shop owner, with lot of good intentions she was struggling to serve the gusts. Owners please take necessary action before it...
