A Delightful Experience at the Dine In center of Breads and Banter – AECS Layout, Whitefield
I had been to their old center at 620 1st main, C Block, AECS Layout, Brookefield, Bangalore in 2019. It was the best casual F & B experience I had then. Now recently on Dec 31st night I had been with my family and had the pleasure of dining at their new center in 543 Aecs layout main road, Whitefield, and I must say, it was an absolute treat from start to finish even after so many years! This cozy cafe has certainly won me over with its exceptional menu and stellar service.
Menu: The menu at Breads and Banter is a delightful mix of fresh, innovative dishes and comforting classics. The variety of bread-based dishes they offer is impressive, from gourmet sandwiches and wraps to their mouthwatering croissants and artisanal loaves. I had their signature Avocado Toast, which was perfectly balanced with fresh ingredients, and their Aglio Olio pasta – an absolute must-try! The sweet and savory combinations are delightful, and everything tastes incredibly fresh, making it clear that they only use high-quality ingredients.
What really stood out to me was the bread selection – it’s diverse and beautifully baked, offering a perfect combination of flavors and textures that complement each dish. Whether you’re looking for a light breakfast or a hearty lunch, they have something to cater to every palate.
Service: The service at Breads and Banter is impeccable. The staff is friendly, attentive, and genuinely passionate about providing a great experience. The waitstaff is knowledgeable about the menu and eager to offer suggestions if you're unsure of what to choose. The ambiance is warm and welcoming, making it the ideal place for a relaxing meal, whether you’re alone, with friends, or on a casual date.
Overall Experience: Whether you're a fan of freshly baked bread or just in the mood for delicious comfort food with a twist, Breads and Banter delivers on all fronts. The thoughtful menu, cozy setting, and excellent service make it a standout in AECS Layout, Whitefield. It’s the perfect spot to unwind, indulge in delectable food, and have a wonderful time.
I can’t recommend Breads and Banter enough – a true gem in Whitefield that I’ll definitely be...
Read moreCraving for an Indulgent breakfast I stopped by Breads and Banter in AECS Layout on the way to work, and had already made up my mind to order a chicken club sandwich as I had looked up their menu online. Surprisingly I found a range of Eggs Benedicts on their breakfast menu that I could not stop myself from ordering, went with a classic Eggs Benedict though I received after about 40 mins, the one on a bed of wilted spinach, which matched their description on the menu, though throughout the world it would be called an Eggs Florentine. But enough with the nitpicking, I did not mind it, or the delay, I quickly indulged into what was one of the wonderful versions that I have had in Namma Bengaluru. A supersoft freshly baked warm brioche has a bright green spinach sauteed well, with a layer of chicken ham, and on that was landed a perfectly poached egg, with a drizzle of a classic hollandaise, pure indulgence, executed to perfection, I simply fell in love with. The version here was very similar to SMOOR where they probably bake the benedict a bit after the hollandaise, so the sauce was a little more set and grilled on top, but the portion here was generous than SMOOR and I was so happy that I found a place that serves my favourite breakfast to perfection so close to home that I can cover in my morning walk. They do server variants of the classic with pulled chicken option and another one with avocado, can't wait to try them out, especially a bright neon green avocado with a yellow hollandaise drizzle. Yet, that chicken club sandwich can't wait longer too so definitely coming back here soon with family for a scrumptious weekend breakfast indulgence. I did notice a couple of interesting options for lunch and dinner that included a classic fish and chips, and a Chicken Stroganoff so watch me update this review with more dishes from Breads &...
Read moreI’ve come to this place quite often! I’ve had a wonderful experience in terms of food quality. There Pan cakes are really good too. The ambience is quite decent as well but their service is quite pathetic today. I’hd just come back from a bike ride and was dead tired. Wanted to sit on the sofa as I had my riding gear with me like jacket, helmet etc. I requested to sit on the sofa but they said we can’t help you as there are customer available. Now here is the thing. I wanted something so I asked, I don’t believe that I’m entitled to be given exactly what I asked rather I’m entitled to be heard as a request. The Manager Mr Azhar khan for brutally rude to us and said ‘I can’t help you by asking others to get up’. Mr Azhar, I’m not blind and I can see. Moreover, we asked him if he can give us an extra table as we need it to order food and keep our stuff, he first said “There is no need and there is no space, so where should I keep it”. Brilliantly Ride! What I would’ve like to hear Mr Azhar was ‘We can’t give you right now but if you can sit for few minutes on a different chair and wait for others to leave, then I can offer you’ or “ you can sit on this chair and I can arrange for few more before I can see if there is a possibility to shift. Simple, Courteous and emphatic. That’s it Mr Azhar, if you give me a response like your staff then I’m sorry I can’t say that you are a manager. Eventually when other guest left, we asked again and suggested ourselves if we can be shifted. The Staff, not the manager, Obliged. Listen Breads & Butter guys, you can have all sorts of boards games and stand-ups and Christmas gala. But if you can’t provide basic customer service, then I’m sorry you are not doing your job.
