Read moreI don’t intend to start by saying “don’t go in there if you see 3 girls at the food collection counter” I’ve been going to shiv sagar express from the day one in fact right from the Inauguration. It was very friendly and well trained people working there. But ever since the renovation. The staff has been changed. And they have hired some untrained people for lower wages. This instance is not the first and will not be last. In the past they have missed items on parcels. But today when we orders food both for table and parcels the bill was handed. The girls at the counter has no manners on how to talk to people. Respect is what everyone deserves. These girls are so mean. Talking to customer in rude manner. When a feedback was shared with on spot manger these 3 girls gang up and argue both with manager as well as customers asking a us to leave. Gaming up and bossing as if they own the place.
Not to be political correct. These are the instances which shows the difference between locals and someone from other state. There is a clear difference in culture and way one treats other.
In a hotel or restaurant industry customer service is what brings people back. These kind of issues brings the brand down. And yes word of mouth will be negative.
New BEL road is such a place that people are educated and holds pride. Yo the restaurant. Know your crowd. And treat accordingly. Have your people trained or at least educated on customer service. I have met kinder people working there but just because of these 3 girls you have lost a family as a customer and possibly some more. As I will surely suggest all my peers not to visit.
A word to managers learn how not to escalate the situation. Have your employee correct or not to engage with dissatisfied customers.
Hope this review finds correct people or at least have others be prepared for how they...
Read moreHave frequented this place due to its popularity and must say it's quite a good place for both north and south indian food! Located on busy main road in BEL area, this place is always always crowded, even in covid times, I have never seen more than a table unoccupied! The place is hygienic and clean but social distancing norms of course isn't followed, the seating is chaotic. Id say if u happen to be there after 9pm, you'll find a little space to sit and breathe! Their food delivery also is pretty decent, with food mostly delivered warm! Their dosas and idli vada is what you'd expect, but the sambhar is not up to the mark, very watery and flavourless for me at least! Pav bhaji is must try, for the first in Bangalore I tasted something close to a proper pav bhaji! Spring rolls are classic in taste and texture, do try! In chaat, have tried raj kachori, which was tasty and serves 2 pretty well. But their dahi vada, was too sweet, lacked green chutney. Tried kesar falooda, but it was too sweet like some syrup was put, didn't like it, didn't have authentic falooda taste. Mind lemonade is something you should definitely have! They have extensive menu and dishes are aptly priced. Do try the place! Decent meal for 2 will cost you...
