Jackson's Beach House Calangute — Hotel in Goa

The place is good, the owner Jackson is extremely helpful and hospitalable. Property is located near Calangute 10 mins walk to the beach.

Let's talk about amenities

1. Rooms : They are big and spacious with wardrobe, fridge and AC and hot and cold water for shower. Hamam soap and towel.

Some things to address on room front

1. Lights are dull, need to be more bright.
2. no ventilation in bathroom should have exhaust.
3. Towels had their thread coming off, A clean towel everyday should be given.
4. Toilets seat is not aligned and no shelf to keep the toiletries.
5. water and Blankets/comforter could be ideal.

Service Jackson and Rosy were available from 9 AM to 10 PM for the guest and helped us to get Activa from Lester. One can do swiggy/Zomato for breakfast to dinner and tea. Nothing available in house.

Also family stay in the same property therefore need to be cautious of not making loud noise in night, avoid partying outside room.

Location Parking for four wheeler is tight. It's an open parking 2 to 3 four wheeler can be parked one behind another. The rooms are available on 1st and 2nd floor with narrow staircase which is a task to get your luggage up and also it's daily cardio for individual everytime you step out of the house.

For the price we paid, it was a okay stay. It wasn't overwhelming, But small gestures of Jackson to help us get stuff from Market and being courteous to our request made our stay...

We enjoyed our stay at Jack's beach house. We stayed there for 2 days during the pooja holidays.

The beach house is the median to most of the tourist places in North Goa.

About the Hosts (Jack & Rosy)

Jack in one word, is super awesome. He is very friendly and approachable. He helped with all the tourist places to cover, along with commute plans and recommendations on food and restaurants.

Rosy (Receptionist) was very friendly and provided all the needed help.

Hospatility

One important thing to mention is that he allowed us to keep our luggage in a separate storeroom and provided washrooms for refreshment after our check-out time.

We don't have that luxury in the other room we have booked.

He hasn't charged for water bottles.

Again, we got charged for the water in the Oyo room we stayed in.

Jack makes sure that the guests are not facing any issues with regular followup.

About the house

The house is very clean and feels like a home. The toilets are clean. I will rate it a 5 out of 5 for cleanliness.
