Tropical Bay — Hotel in Goa

We had an absolutely delightful stay at Tropical Bay. We stayed for 5 nights in December 23.The hygiene and cleanliness were impeccable, making my experience truly comfortable. For local conveyance scootys are available. We hv specially visited to celebrate Christmas🌲🌲 in Goa.. Which was remarkably one of the most beautiful experience ever.. Rohit was incredible 😇😇..he was very helpful and personally took interest in every guests requirements and always ready to help.The rooms were not only fabulous but also well-maintained, providing a perfect blend of style and functionality...The ambience of the resort was fabulous.. Light music..the hawaiian vibes..friendly staff and calm environment.. For meals we have numerous of restaurants around offering awesome local goan food and relaxed holiday vibes..The prime location of the resort added immense convenience to our trip, palolem beach was jus in walking distance of 30 meters.. We spent most of our time in shacks..enjoying lovely food and chilled beer..easy access to nearby attractions like butterfly beach..honeymoon beach..agonda and cola beach 😍😍😍..What truly stood out was the warm and friendly nature of Rohit (actually he is an one man army) and team special mention to Abhay as well...their hospitality made us feel like I was at home away from home. I highly recommend Tropical Bay for a fantastic and welcoming stay!! For xure this would be our permanent residency in South Goa in future.. If ur reading this review.. don't think twice.. Our experience at this property was utterly disappointing. Upon arrival, they insisted on upfront payment before showing us the room, which should have been a red flag. When we finally saw the room, it was in a terrible state with an uneven structure and a bad hospital-like odor. The beds were uncomfortable, and basic amenities like the fan weren't functioning. Despite our requests, maintenance was unresponsive, and even the AC failed to cool the room adequately. Power cuts further agitated our discomfort. Upon deciding to cut our stay short, they initially agreed to a full refund, but later refused and offered only 50%, engaging in aggressive arguments. The owner's dismissive attitude, even encouraging negative reviews, was deeply unprofessional. Breakfast, touted as complimentary, was uncooked and bad, with the staff displaying a arrogant attitude towards complaints. Avoid this property; it's a far cry from the appealing images presented online.

Foreigners would appreciate this place, as they often leave positive reviews seeking to experience the pulse of a lower-class lifestyle far removed from their developed lives back at home.

It's time to review one of the best budget friendly resorts in South Goa. I didn't expect the ambiance, service and locality. That complimentary breakfast is very tasty. Sailesh is very friendly and he will guide us. And there are two foreign cooks and one Telugu known guy(Vishal) helped us. The location and ambiance is very nice. I got a family cottage for 1200/- per night, that is very reasonable for that location. It is not a sea view cottage but Palolem beach is 100m away from the cottage. That is okay. And it is near the canacona busy station. From that we can travel to any kind of beaches in South Goa while taking a tourist bus ticket. Nearby restaurants and shopping is a little expensive but if we take parcels and drink in the cottage or beach view that should overcome the cost.

Must visit places from the cottage: Raj Bhag beach: one of the unique beaches of South Goa Cola beach: we can try it in summer since it is off road and kayaking is very nice. Caboderama: one of the unique beach. Much go to pebbles beach. If you want to do the kayaking peacefully then better to go Sadolxem bridge then we can get kayaks very cheap and unlimited time to do that. Colomb beach: walkable distance from this cottage. Good...
