SUNBATH beach EXOTICA — Hotel in Goa

Newly constructed beach side AC Luxury huts in Palolem. Currently they have 5 cottages, including 2 seafacing ones. Location is bang in the center of the beach, with easy access to all Southside and Northside restaurants and bars. Adjacent properties are San Francisco beach huts and Ocean Drift restautant. This place was earlier called Neptune Beach Cottages, until the new ownership and refurbishments.

Reach: 1.5~2 hours from Dabolim Airport. Taxis easily available.

On the Palolem beach road, get down at Charming Nights Cottages entry gate, opposite Palolem Dental clinic. It's a 200m walk from there to these beachside huts. Parking and Porter service available.

Amenities: Fully AC Luxury Cottages with a large King size bed, half length cupboard and a mirror. The bed is super comfy with premium linen sheets and pillows. Full length 6ft×14ft bathroom with WC, hot/cold water, shower panel, wash basin with illuminated mirror + shaving mirror, floor slippers, hand soap, hair dryer, tissue, bodywash, hair shampoo and conditioner. The bathroom is the highlight of this property as it's very clean and ventilated. Fresh towels and complimentary (2) bottled water is provided for your each day of stay. There is a large sit-out porch in each cottage with chairs and a table. A water tap is provided at the cottage entry and a floor sand mat to wash/ scrub your feet off sand.

Cleanliness: They clean and sanitise the cottages daily and on demand. Dustbins and floor mats are conveniently placed in the bathroom, bedroom and the porch.

Dining: Food and drinks is never a problem in Goa beaches. However they have an attached common bar and seaside restaurant which is super accessible. The waiters are always around and will serve food and drinks at your cottage. You can always hop out and dine at their sea front sitting area. Kitchen quality is good.

Alternatively there are several good dining and drinking options on the beachside or the main road, as you please.

My recommendations: Best to choose one of the 3 garden facing cottages, as the sea facing ones tend to get very sunny, warm and uncomfortable in the afternoon. There are voltage fluctuations during the day, so the AC may not work well during the afternoon that can aggravate the discomfort if you are inside the cottage. However, the sea view cottages have their own charm and you may be outdoors all day.

There is no direct sun in the garden facing cottages, so they are cooler during the afternoon and quite airy if the doors are kept open. You can see the sea clearly from the porch and the beach is just 50ft away, anyways.

Your man for all reasons at the property is Shabbir. He is a good manager and very helpful. There is also Shajan, to take care of all things you need at a local level, like transportation, bike rental, medicines, etc.

Overall review: Palolem has an excellent beach that offers great swimming, kayaking, paddle surfing and sun bathing opportunities along with superb dine and drinks. The crowd is typically lesser, far more relaxed and chilled out than in North Goa beaches. Very safe place with extremely low crime rates.

For families with kids, Palolem is very convenient. For young couples, it offers a lot of space and for groups, a whole lot of bonding opportunity while doing there own thing.

Sun bath Exotica is right at the centre of Palolem, offering a little bit of everything this quaint sea side destination is known for. A home away from home, where you could be a bit footloose and fancy a bohemian lifestyle away from the drudgery...

This place is awesome. One will not find a better place in Palolem than this. Sunbath beach exotica is a newly constructed luxury beach resort completely different from all the resorts nearby. It is right on the beach and comes with all the amenities that can give star hotels run for their money! The sit out is spacious with a hammock chair to sit and relax when you are not bathing in the sea. The huge dreamcatchers give you a good vibe when you enter the place. Rooms are spacious with nice comfortable bed. The long curtains let the optimum light in during the day and give you privacy at the same time. The room also has a spacious cupboard and locker to keep your stuff. AC works perfectly for those who cannot tolerate Goa weather and cools the room when we want even during the hot afternoon. One can hear the waves at night which is very soothing. Bathroom is big, clean and equipped with a hot shower, hair dryer, shaving mirror and also an illuminating mirror on the wash basin. It has shampoo, conditioner and body wash dispenser which i like as it generates less waste (compared to sachets and small bottles). The shower bath is a wall mounted tower shower to give you the luxurious feeling. We were one of the early customers and we liked the room so much that we extended our stay there!

There is a restaurant next from where you can order tea/coffee/beer/food or just walk around the beach and you can find plenty of options. The Palolem beach road is also just 150 meters and you can park the car inside near to the resort. Overall a very good experience and would like to stay here again when...

Keeping in mind long weekend I had booked this property for 2 nights 1month in advance. As I had already saw old review that this guy Raman gives property to someone else if they get good money. Still I called them and cleared my doubt and ask guy if I book and pay in advance he will not do same thing to me. He said he is comitted to his work and he promised that will not do same thing to me. The day I reached property at Eve 4 he told me he gave my room to someone else and ask me to adjust in another room ( which was total mess due to heavy rain and not worth to the price I paid). He was sure that due to long weekend I will not get any another property. He said he can return me amount as he has given my room to other girls.

It's my humble request pls don't trust this guy Raman. He gives room to others if they pay more than you,and you will be in trouble at the last moment. After searching a lot for around 2 hours I got room at agonda.

Note: They have pathetic parking. You car might get damage as there is no proper road to get your car inside small lane.
