Hotel City Inn — Hotel in Gujarat

Had stayed there on 11.11.2022. The location is such that you would hardly find its board. Very narrow path to go inside the hotel. Further the reception is at second floor so one has to wait for narrow lift to come and then reach. We were allotted 3rd floor which was actually terrace. But they had constructed rooms over there. So lift could go only till second floor and then one has to walk for third floor. We had senior citizen along with who faced lot of trouble climbing stairs. The lobby was stinking with smoking around terrace so wasn't comfortable to go outside rooms. This hotel doesn't have in house restaurant so they will order from outside for whatever you order. Coming to rooms, we got room for 1200+gst for one day which is very expensive seeing room condition. The rooms weren't clean, small insect was seen roaming, even the washrooms weren't upto mark. Photos are attached for your reference. Washrooms and room size was very small. We reached there at night so had no other option than to stay till morning and run away from his hotel. I request hotel staff to seriously consider this feedback to improve. Lots of improvement is needed. One would even not give 600 Rs for this hotel. Even lodges near station...

Well the hotel room was not bad for the price I paid but dishes and tray were not clean and the worst part is the location of the hotel. If I had known it is situated there, I would not have booked the hotel. It's in the old city where it's mostly dominated by muslim population and felt Lil unsafe as a woman travelling alone. Did not feel like going out and explore the nearby places bcos of weird staring from the local people and on the top of that there were screams from loud speaker coming from religious institutions that says its time to break your fast and all and that was following by songs which continued for 1 hour , imagine how the sleep gets disturbed when you have late night flights or early morning flight for that matter.
