In the centre of the city and amongst the hustle bustle of the area, is located Park Lane hotel. Electronics and garments stores surround you and the famous Paradise’s Original Hyderabad Biryani is round the corner.||I have visited /stayed in the hotel many times before also. As you enter the hotel, a grouchy faced person looks at you – does not ask you anything nor greets you. It is your job to say something so that you can check in. This happens especially in the afternoon or evenings. I ask for the wifi password.||The room was booked in advance. You tell your name, formalities of registration and handing over the key takes a few minutes. Bell boy leads you to the room. There is nothing much to explain, as you have the barest minimum. ||After the bell boy leaves, you find there is neither water nor glass. You ask and thou shall be given. ||Room is simple sufficient for a night stay. Fridge space is kept empty. There are no frills like coffee maker etc. So if you are an early riser and need a cup of coffee or tea, you need to go out and have, for me it was more of a punishment.||Bathroom was stained on the tiles and also the pot. Appear cleaning is done just by water and no soaps/detergents were used to clean. I had to complain to the management.||Check in time is 12 noon if you book through other agencies and if you come directly, then it is 24 hours. Thus if you book through web sites, kindly confirm.||Dining: Breakfast is complimentary. It starts at 7.30 a.m. and goes till 10.30. It is simple with a few items like idly, dosa, either pongal/bisibela/upma, boiled eggs (it is a vegetarian hotel so no omelette) and breads/jam, coffee/tea. Taste of most items is generally good and refills are faster.||Overall this is more of a budget hotel. Management needs to take care of cleanliness to give assurance to visitors of cleanliness...
Read moreTo owner of parklane, on 29th October 2022 specific time me and my mother reached out to parklanes front desk to use lavatories. It was an emergency for my mother. The lady who stood denied us access to the washroom, she reluctantly shifted her narrative claiming we barged in (trespassed her property) and demanded where as, we requested and never been demanding. What customer care do you offer being in hospitality business and cannot understand a urgency of woman. I also did question her regarding saying as woman atleast you should have understood another women's problem. My mother was given access and i was made to hear all kind of insults. Even after we apologized if that it wasn't our intention and a woman was in pain they made us stand there for 15 whole minutes lecturing us what law stated, I'm a lawyer and I pretty well know what I spoke but the lady retarded saying get your law straight and then come and argue. While we chose to leave in silence I should have taken a video as a proof, they lady was aged and my upbringing didn't allow me to openly disrespect her but by writing this I hope you understand that customers are valuable. We might not have stayed here today but we were frequent customers of the hotel and the restaurant. Please take action against a person who is in hospitality business and doesn't understand basic human needs and humanity. While we do understand the security reasons too- but we appreciate if they understand...
Read moreHorrible place with poor infrastructure and maintenance. Service is poor and overall bad experience. The rooms had cockroaches everywhere - in the bathroom, on the floor, on the door, on the bed, in the sockets, in the cupboards, and the drawers. AC wasn't functioning well, and the bathroom door doesn't shut well. After we requested a new room since the AC in the first room allotted wasn't working, the AC maintenance guy came to check..he concurred that the AC isn't working. While the receptionist sent their staff to shift rooms, the staff insisted on checking the AC in the current room again himself and stated that it is working. Why do you'll wish to change! We said the AC maintenance guy had already told that the AC isn't working and the hotel receptionist has agreed to give us a new room. But this staff here took it on himself to decide and take the call whether we should be given the new room or not. He didn't provide us with new towels or any other basic need.
We ordered a grilled vegetable sandwich, which costs 110 Rs without GST. We got a bland bread with 1 tomato and 1 cucumber piece. No chutney, no butter. Just salt and pepper on top. This is the service they provide despite having the best awards and name for the past so many years.
I would not recommend this...
