I'm writing this review while staying at the Hotel dated October 1, 2019. This is my second visit, the first one being my engagement which was celebrated here. During the first visit here, the experience turned out to be very sour where I was ill-treated by the security guard at the valet. The management did take an action but the happiness was short lived when we lost something precious. The cameras equiped at the hotel do not work or has a lot of grey area due to which we couldn't trace. Accepting that it is our fault we left. Nevertheless, a place like this should have proper working equipment. Coming to the second instance which occurred just a few minutes ago - I learnt that father who is a respectable man in the society is ill-treated. We booked 18 rooms for my marriage and my father who faced an issue with a faucet in his room, called the reception as he was facing inconvenience only to be mis/ill-treated by one named - 'Pradeep' who is the front desk Manager. When my father complained about the faucet, he says - 'When we handover the rooms, everything will be in abworking condition'.
My point is - why would my father purposefully spoil things at the hotel and then complain? I did inform the front desk manager that we were unaware that we have to check the working condition of everything inside the room after we check-in. Technically, I'm supposed to report out the damages or disfunctionalities of the room when we occupy. This is the only way you as Customers can save yourselves by getting slammed by such comments from the management!
The two most important occasions of my life started and ended on a bad note and yes, thanks to the Taj Tristar Hotel located at Secunderabad. If you are looking for a pleasant or a good experience with this hotel here - do read the review and I wish you the best of luck if you are expecting...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWent their for weekend buffet lunch. There was waiting so gave our name. First thing I had to teach their staff was, if you are calling customer name, call it with respect. He was searching for one guy asking in top of his voice "Shankar kon hai, kaha gya?" I asked him if he was searching for his staff. He was, no no..this is customer's name. I told him to learn how to call someone with respect, specially in business of hospitality, basic manners are not an option. Seems Taj hiring quality has touched rock bottom.
Coming to food, lunch weekend buffet price is 575 including taxes. Only 2 starters which were ok ok. I had to ask for proper size plate and the one they gave for starter was too small. I had to ask for Chutney 5 times like they didn't know that starters needs chutney. Main course was also not so great. very limited options.
Sweets were toooooo sweet. Pastry was good. Pudding was also nice however chocolate pudding was finished. I asked their staff to re-fill it however they replied it is over. He didn't even try to check if they can refill. Response was very rude. Soon, another sweet was over. They quickly removed its name as well. I asked for that, and again answer was, it is finished. I was like, if you are charging me for buffet and not providing all items, why I should pay full amount?
Not a good experience. Poor behavior, bad food, over charging, no customer service and every staff member shows you attitude. Instead of paying them 575, add 175 Rs more and go to Jalpaan buffet. I visited Jalpaan 3 weeks back and it was 10 time better and worth...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreOne of the worst experience with Taj Tristar which is never expected from this high priced hotel. South Indian thali is priced at 250 each which is highest in the vicinity. So you expect that taste and quality. But to utter dismay there were three curries which looked similar. After eating I could know that one of it was aloo. The other two gravy curries were almost similar. Me and my dad went to the hotel and had to sit at a table which was not cleaned yet portraying that the hotel is very busy. When we asked the staff to clean the table, one bearer came with a wet cloth and wiped the table and mats too, the cloth was highly stinking and I called the person back and told him the same softly. This time he came with a dry cloth and started wiping, wiped half the table and kept the WIPING cloth away and with the same unwashed hands he went to serve a buttermilk glass to one of the customer. I was shocked š³. The I called the manager and told him the problem, he asked us to shift to other table. I said thank you have went to the other table And this time the table was swinging. Uff this continued and there is no proper customer care or service offered, and neither the food was good. Yucks to the hotel. I lost the total impression on Taj Tristar. THERE IS NO HYGEINE MAINTAINED = LEADS TO...
