Have been waiting and craving to visit Telangana spice kitchen for quite sometime now.
We recently visited their new branch in Secunderabad for lunch. The location is apt as it sits right in the heart of Parklane.
The interiors are well decorated with indoor plants and offer simple seating. Floral flooring & greenery inspired walls welcome you on your way to the table.
We decided to binge on appetizers and that was a good decision since you get to try their wide range of lip smacking offerings. Golichina mamsam (mutton), malai chicken tikka, Korameenu roast boneless & Karimnagar fried wings were our options. The show stopper had to be the Karimnagar fried wings. The wings were fried to perfection with a robust flavour and secret massala sprinkled on top. Golichina mamsam was soft & succulent, with a very peppy flavour. This is surely going to every spice lovers delight.
The korameenu roast was well fried and the meat was intact with every bite. Slightly tangy but definitely a must try.
Our choice for mains was just a Nalli Gosht Biryani which takes a while to arrive. This had an aura of its own, with 2 huge lamb shanks slow cooked to perfection in a shorba sitting on top of biryani rice. The meat just came off the marrow so easily and was a delight in the mouth. The rice was flavorful and well cooked.
For dessert, we had their newly launched mango twist. We dint relish it as much as we expected it to be.
Overall this place has a charm of its own when it comes to offering authentic Telangana food & has been drawing huge crowds everyday! Although prices are fairly high, I think it is justified through their food.
Taste: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Ambience: ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Value for money: ⭐⭐⭐ Service: ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Read moreDecent offering of authentic telangana spiced food. In search of new restaurants in and about Himayat Nagar area, this seemed to be quite a catch. Of late the only 'new' developments seems to be towards the Gachibowli, Kondapur, Madhapur areas which are like 3 hrs travel.
Lucky for us this one has a branch at Secunderabad. We went to this on a whim late Saturday evening, thinking it would just be a walk-in. Reaching the place, we saw serpentine queue of people outside waiting to be called in. We were surprised to find that there is just a table for 3 and we were just ushered in.
Owing to late lunch, we weren't fully up to the task to fully justify the spread. We ordered starters, soup, followed by the desert. Golinchina Babycorn, Chilli paneer were really delicious and spicy. Corn was properly cooked. Manchow soup is your standard fare and done well. What was shocking to see was the speed with which dishes were delivered. We were served within 5 minutes of ordering. Normally that would be red flag, however the quality of the dishes were excellent.
I had Chitti Royyala Fry and prawns were quite tender and masalas on it packed a punch. We ended the dinner with Apricot Delight and it was very delicious. Highly recommended.
Menu design needs to be appreciated with the modicum use of defined space and having all variations as subtext. It just makes selections more easy rather than scrolling through endless pages.
I also had ordered dishes from here - Golinchina Mushroom, TSK Special Chicken Biryani, Paneer Pulao. Frankly the rice items seemed okay. Biryani didn't have much dum in it. Overall I wouldn't say this is a 5 start restaurant yet, however a good alternative for people looking for...
