OYO Hotel Meredian Orchid Near Birla Mandir — Hotel in Hyderabad

Don’t bother to take a room here because of following reasons ||||1. Dirty rooms, stained bed sheets ||2. Dirty and ill-equipped washroom ||3. Cold, unfriendly hotel staff||4. No lift, only stairs||5. Threatening, aggressive “property manager”||||This hotel, if I can even call it that, has been my biggest nightmare of a hotel stay ever. Right from the moment I arrived, I was met with cold, rude staff, who initially behaved like they couldn’t let me in, even though I had an OYO booking. After about half an hour, I was given the key to the room, to which I had to carry my own luggage, up the stairs(the place has no lift), and no one offered to help. On reaching the room, I find the bathroom dirty, and the sheets stained, and the pillow cases torn, it was like no one had even bothered to clean the room before I checked in. There were also no towels or toiletries in the washroom. Absolutely disgruntled, I requested for a change of sheets, upon which I was coldly told there was no one to do that, and a boy would come by shortly to do that. I waited two more hours, and no one came. I complained at the counter, and the lady behind the counter seemed absolutely disinterested. Disgusted, I chose to spend the day outside mostly. When I returned at night, I was met by a new guy behind the counter, who rudely asked why I was going in, and where to. I went to the room to find the sheets has still not changed. Later in the night, I had a friend visiting for a bit. When he arrived, the same guy behind the counter harassed ya, threatened to make me vacate the room if I took my friend to the room, and said as “property manager” he could throw me out any time. I felt abused, harassed, threatened, and had to leave as early as 6 in the morning instead of the designated 11am. ||||These guys don’t know the H of hospitality and should just not be in true business. If I could, I’d give them zero stars and I’d get OYO to give me a full refund. This experience was abusive, an absolute nightmare, and may even reconsider ever using OYO...

Not a friendly staff. They make us to submit original id card and will give it back on checkout. Dirty hotel rooms, bedsheet are also dirty in every room. People use this hotel as a cheep motel I would say. On OYO you will find the rating good but the time you will stand in front of the hotel you will have a negative feeling about it. No parking available becouse it is just at the main busy road.

They given me one room first. On entering you will find the bed sheet as if they are not washed from a good amount of time. You will find dirty stains all over the place. Washroom was also not good. Seat cover of commode was broken. Telephone line was not working. For caling the staff you have to call with your own number to a number they have provided.

After asking for second room they given it to me. It was little bit better but same story for bedsheets here as well.

Forget about pillow and its cover. I asked for towel. They said, towels are not available for now. Once it will be they will give it to me. That was the last point that made that hotel cross all the limits, I then booked a different hotel from oyo again and gone from that place.

Also he didn't checked me out. He said it will be done on by oyo app on last checkout day. As I already said it wasn't friendly staff, I didn't bother about this anymore. just left the palce.

Its a motel. Not at all a hotel.
