A quick look at the photos I attached would give a clue how badly maintained this hotel is.
Check-in: We reached at check-in time of 2:00 PM. We were made to wait for 1 hour before they could allot a room for us. We were given the room keys at 3 PM. To our surprise, when we went to our room with our luggages, the room cleaning was still going on. We had to wait in the corridor with luggages for another 30 minutes until the cleaning was complete. So we had to wait from 2:00 to 3:30 PM. Parents who travel with a year old baby will realize how tough this can be. To top it, the hotel staff were not at all apologetic!
Room interiors: The room we booked was a Deluxe room, but the one we received was really shabby and claustrophobic. The mini fridge did not work AC was slow to cool and very noisy. It is a old-gen AC. Airtel DTH worked intermittently and I had to reinsert the Airtel card in DTH often to make it work again Toilets are in horrible shape with some broken parts Deluxe room very small. The double bed itself occupies 75% of the room space. So there is hardly any space to wash around, or wear your clothes. How can they call this a Deluxe room?
Room service: This can be a hit or miss. The overall food quality and timelines of service was good, but they goofed up with our orders. Quick service Food is a bit on the spicy side Right amount of oil used, kudos to that! Limited options Check if you received all the items you ordered. We never received Tawa Chapathi in the combo that we ordered. Later on informing, the staff apologized and sent it later.
Overall a very terrible experience. Definitely spoiled the brand 'Ginger' for me. Wonder how many more travelers faced such problems before. This Will definitely be the last time I'll look for a 'Ginger' hotel in my future trips. There are many other better options...

Its a Lilliput hotel. Tiny.
ROOMS ARE TINY. Its so small that two people will find it hard to move inside it. Bed is tiny too.
This is the worst hotel i have been to. I can't believe this is a TATA Taj property. It looks like a 3rd rate LODGE. Its totally unclean. Toilets are something I felt totally dirty about. I have to sanitize myself after being in this place.
Rooms were dusty. Cracks all over. Do look at pictures I posted.
AC doesn't cool. There was no remote for the TV.
Internet speed is 310 Kbps (Which ancient era they live?) digital India?
I really feel this is one of the worst hotels i have ever been to. With integrity levels as low as it can possibly get.
Staff is kind of clueless and are like Zombies, they say nameste that's all. I asked for a 16 amps plug for EV charging. They felt if i was a alien from moon. Every hotel i have been to, has gone to extreme lengths to help EV owners. Here is a TATA property, who sell maximum EVs (that's another quality related sad story) not having any help or use to EV community.
I can't believe TATA QUALITY AND INTEGRITY has gone so low. Very sad and depressed stay. I have cut short my booking and running away from this dirt hole. Goodbye to...
Read moreThere is lot to say🙂, lets divide those in pros and cons. Pros: Situated in outskirts, so it is quiet place and can get a good sleep. Has restaurant, which I guess is expected in 3 star hotel. Buffet is also okay here, we tried breakfast and dinner It was available for booking online during dasara time. Staffs were very polite and showed us all different rooms on our request.
Cons: Hotel says that water is complimentary, but it is only 2 bottles of 500ml per day. They have water dispenser on each floor, but 3rd floor water dispenser was having a bad smelled water. Upon request they changed the water but there were insects floating on the drinking water. There were no optikns also to buy water inside the property. As the property was located at outskirts there are no shops/malls nearby. Room service was okay for few days, but one day they forgot to give us towels and soaps, which is totally unacceptable in 3 star hotel. Even to get coffee and tea pouches, we had to wait for 30 mins, I understand that it might be due to dasara time, but you could have arranged some pickup from front desk options. Dasara dinner was a disappointment, expected something special🙂. However I might be expecting more from a...
