Horrible experience, do not come here!
As someone who loves food i love visiting new places and trying different food. And usually don't write reviews since most restaurants were good enough but this is the worst I've been to so far!!
We had read the other reviews before coming to dine here for lunch and i speak from experience when I say, DONT TRUST THE OTHER REVIEWS!!
Firstly they didn't even clean the tables Even after we waited near them for more than 10 mins.
Secondly the service is horrible. Even street restaurants serve food on time and have better service. The waiters here barely came when we were asking to put in our order. Even after ordering the food came after like 30 mins. Another family that had came, also left cause of the service. Can't even call it a service at this point cause there was none!
Thirdly the food. After waiting for more than 40 mins the food finally comes. We had ordered the northern thali with garlic naan and butter panner. The northern thali is not proper northern as northern dishes don't have manchurian or veg manchow soup. But this genius thali did have them both. And in the thali we were supposed to get kala jamun but it wasn't even there. Instead there was some other roti sweet thingy, its understandable if the kala jamun was over but should have informed us before ordering. And the butter paneer barely had enough panner or infact any other vegetables. Other than that it was very salty for my palet.
Fourthly the the price!! Our total price was 1160₹. This price was not worth the food and service. There are restaurants like udupi or any other restaurant that could give good food for better service and be worth its value.
overall the experience was that bad that if I could I won't even give a...
Read moreI never leave negative reviews - but this is by far the only place i would leave a rating of hardly a 1 for a 5..
Why? I'll break this down just they way these folks destroyed a good lunch-
i tried to order 2 plain rotis around lunch time - staff said it was not available - IDK you tell me friends...roti not available at lunch time ? a little weird for me ... if you don't have rotis, why did the staff hand over a menu card in the first place.. in the menu card it no-where mentioned about rotis not being available at lunch time so i was forced to order meals and there began the chaos...
Food- Lunch served cold; even after asking for hot bowl of rice second time as initially it was served cold, the same cold one was served Quantity - can hardly fill a baby's appetite: only 1 sabzi(half cup) Price - Daylight robbery - Rs.199 for a limited South meals - bro seriously ?? Forget the rate, will talk later on that - can't you even give a cup full on the only sabzi that you give? 🤡 No vegetables in meals (hardly 1/2 cup spinach) - charged for extra Paapad - full of oil Porridge - chef forgot to add sweet here it seems Btw, no water was served Waiter - doesn't understand the customer; Manager - IDK was his attitude Billing- even for the billing, we ourselves had to go and remind that bill is due as no coordination between waiter, staff n billing folks as waiter didn't even know the table no: and we were asked to verify our bills 2-3 times on G-Pay as they couldn't do it in 1 go - like what?
In short, 1.5/5 is all i can give here
Please DO NOT waste your money here - Mysuru has far better tasting cuisines than this place
Sorry if this seems harsh but it is my personal opinion... Not...
Read moreAbsolutely Awful Service! 30 Minute Wait and Zero Attention.
I'm writing this review out of pure frustration and disappointment. Our experience at Ahara Vedh was nothing short of terrible. We walked in, got seated, and then proceeded to wait for a staggering 30 minutes with absolutely NO acknowledgement from the staff.
Not a single server approached our table to offer water, take our order, or even just acknowledge our presence. We tried to make eye contact with multiple employees walking by, but we were completely ignored. It felt like we were invisible!
Thirty minutes is an unacceptable amount of time to wait, especially when no one even bothers to let you know they'll be with you shortly. We eventually gave up and left, feeling completely disregarded and wasting valuable time.
This is the worst service I have ever experienced. I understand restaurants can get busy, but the lack of basic attention was appalling. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. Save yourself the frustration and go somewhere where your patronage is actually appreciated.
What I would say:
Avoid like the plague!
Don't waste your time.
Terrible service, utterly ignored.
Ahara Vedh needs to train their staff on basic customer service.
This was a truly awful experience and I will not...
