Chose this property for 3 good reasons: 1. It’s new and is well maintained 2. Ideal location and family friendly 3. Has 2 restaurants, South Indian in the ground floor and multiple cuisine (1983 resto pub) But only after staying for 3 nights with my family I found few cons to already anticipated ones. Let’s talk about pros: 1. Location is ideal, accessible to Chamundi hills, Ooty main road, Shopping locations etc. 2. Mylari restaurant is within a km from here 3. Newly built and well maintained, clean rooms with touch panel control for lights, 24/7 hot water, courteous staff, family friendly 4. Seamless check-in/out process 5. Two kinds of restaurants, South Indian (ground floor includes breakfast buffet), multi-cuisine resto pub (1983) on the rooftop, also allows alcohol Now for the cons: 1. Check-in is at 12pm so early check-in has an additional charge of ₹1k 2. Rooms are clean but small, talked about controls which includes, DND, Room Clean, Laundry. But the staff never consider these indicators (I’ll talk about this later) 3. Restaurants (both) are below average in taste for the price. There are better restaurants in walkable distance who offer better food, at same price 4. It’s listed as, including parking on Bookings but it’s on the street side, basement parking is only for staff members.(I’ll talk about this in detail) 5. Staff behaviour is friendly (only friendly), they miss out on doing their basic job (providing service) So our first challenge: the room access card needs to be recharged everyday, which came as a surprise as we hadn’t come across any other hotels that do this, it’s not like we would overstay our stay and they can recharge it for the days we have payed to stay here (a little trust in your customers?) Next the main was parking: it’s street side. It’s a small lane (2way) and there are only 4 obvious parking space in front of the property, which sometimes is taken by people who come for the restaurants. We were asked to park at their other establishment (Yuvraj Silks) which is around 200mts from the hotel, which was fairly good and ample but, while booking why did they mention includes parking? They have a huge basement which can pretty much accommodate at least 4-5 cars but they’re used only by staff. Then there’s the restaurant… South Indian was relatively better than the so called multi-cuisine. The chicken was hard and overcooked. Few dishes weren’t what they claimed it to be. And their prices are of what most mainstream restaurants demand but here the dishes are sub-par! And the rooms are small, maybe good for couples. Good thinking with the touch panel switch board for lights control but hey if you’re putting these fancy indicators outside your rooms and which customers will use, do your due diligence! Our room needed cleaning and they had that indicator there so we turned it on AND we informed the front desk. We came back late in the evening hoping to enter a clean room but it was just as it was. Now when approached asking why, the front desk person was changed to a male for the night shift and he was so brazen to say that he had just clocked in and didn’t know! Uhm… there’s something called duty handover? Or they just want to play the blame game? So we asked them to clean the room while we stepped out for dinner but even after that it was untouched. This time the reason? They buzzed our room and even knocked but no answer (lol we told them we’re out for dinner so that they can get the room cleaned). Additionally they claimed we had our DND indicator turned on! (Speechless) I gave up after that. Most hotels have master card, so there’s no need for them to knock when the customer is AWAY! Plus funny part is, their fancy indicator panel shows “Check-in” in blue if there’s occupancy! Lol so well… that’s that! Staff are friendly, but fail to do their one job! Servicing and keeping their word! So that’s my long feedback/review, bottom line I liked this place and would consider staying again given the staff learn their lesson and learn to keep their word! And please change the chef for 1983!

My wife and I had stayed for a night here,, The prices they say are a bit more compared to online apps,, check it before booking. * when we went thr the receptionist was welcoming but had a strange request,, nd told that she needs to take a pic other than our IDs ,,she did this to all the customers who came,,all wer not happy abt it . nd told it was management rule,, Which is very very weird ❌ * Coming to the rooms ,,it was kk, not that bad,, Towels were fresh but still had old stains in them which was unhygienic 🤮🤢., can improve on that . * Toiletries are of the worst standards dnt use them,, that to in mysore.which is famous for Mysore sandle soap products. * They have attached restaurants which don't serve alcohol which they have not mentioned anywhere. They have a strange rule that u can get alcohol nd drink.in the restaurant 👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻 * MAJOR drawback At night when we came the security told them they didn't have car parking,, yes they don't have that's a main thing . He said we can park near the yuvraj silk shop underground which is behind 2 roads from the hotel. He came along with us and parked the car thr . Nd literally asked for 100Rs ,told to give it before going to hotel bcz Thy have camera thr, When we gave 50 he demanded 50 Rs more ,which he told he should give it for the parking security who are at Yuvraj Silks building,, Which was a big blunder which was done 👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻 Day time security was genuine though. Later when we checked out in the morning,, that person had not given the 50rs share to the other person also,, The other security was demanding 50rs again,, which we denied saying NO This incident made us unhappy not visiting again 👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻👎🏻

Overall Experience: 3.5/5 I stayed with my family in the Presidential Suite and Royal Signature Suite for one night. While the stay was comfortable, several issues impacted the overall experience. Presidential Suite: The room was smaller than expected, though the bathtub was a nice touch. The other two rooms in the suite featured a steam option, but overall, they felt cramped. Additionally, cleanliness was a concern as we found flies in the rooms, which suggested that proper sanitization and cleaning may not have been done thoroughly. I was also disappointed by the lack of contact details for room service or housekeeping—there were no numbers or Wi-Fi details provided in the room, making communication difficult. Royal Signature Suite: This room was more spacious and featured a balcony, which was a pleasant addition. It was definitely more comfortable compared to the Presidential Suite. Service and Booking Issues: Upon checking out, I was contacted by reception two days later due to an issue with my booking and identity information as they messed up my booking details. I had to reshare my details again, which was an inconvenience. Parking and Amenities: Parking was quite limited, so this may be a challenge during peak times. However, the complimentary breakfast was a highlight, and it was enjoyable. Conclusion: While the stay was relatively comfortable, there were several issues with cleanliness, communication, and booking errors. If these areas were addressed, it could easily be an excellent experience.

Worst hotel to stay and terrible service experience Let me brief as it is needed for people booking seeing this fake good reviews,

Problems encountered: No dedicated parking available and you need to park 400meteres away and take your luggage to hotel We arrived late to property (around 2.15pm) and still check in was done making us wait for 45 mins and there was additional guest for which advance payment was done for the one day as guest was planned to leave next day afternoon After we checked in , AC was not working, bathroom sink has an issue and all these were not checked by hotel even though checking was late We found balcony was dirty, match sticks and other wastage which was not cleaned. Receptionist offered 10 percentage discount on food bill after this and after dining in for late lunch around 4pm as checkin was delayed,1983 restaurant manager denied discount saying we need to tell him that we are in house guest before bill generated which is utter nonsense Receptionist Bhargavi is exceptionally rude to customers and totally arrogant. Next entire day wifi stopped working full day and they told that there is tree fell down nearby and there is no backup plan for the same. 8.Next day receptionist Bhargavi called us at around 1.25pm and started asking to pay additional money as guest has not left even though checkin was done at 3.15pm 9.guest left at 1.30pm earlier than check time and still Bhargavi kept on calling whether he is still occupied and you need to pay additional money and we literally had a word war as she was continuously irritating knowing above problem 10.Room key was deactivated when we went for lunch outside even though we have not checked out to irritate us more and which was reactivated saying the magnetic strip has some issue and after 24 hrs it will deactivate automatically which noone can believe and it was done intentionally.

Finally with all these issues, even though we booked a place for 2 nights we left the place on second day night and checked in new hotel there.

Please don't go to this property looking at 5 start reviews in Google as they are completely money minded , arrogant staff and no value for customers even though they charge very decent amount for stay.

Total worthless property and they will screw your peace of mind if you are planning to book here. If there is zero star rating, hotel and management staff...
