First of all, It was a big disappointment for spending money on the item which I expected to be of complete Andhra style.
We ordered Andhra mutton bryani. I was expecting it to be a bit spicy with pakka Andhra touch. But what we exactly got was a normal mutton ghee pulao which infact tasted good. But, the pieces were undercooked. Ofcourse it was not of Andhra style as I have tasted the bryani in Andhra so many times which made me a big fan of it. Here it was not up to the expectation.
Second item was from a Chinese non veg starters - 'Hunan chicken dry'. As the name was unique and as we have never tasted it before we thought of giving it a go. I don't know how it wud be so googled it and got some pictures in my mind. But when it came, I literally regretted ordering it. It was like a normal dragon chicken with sauce overloaded. I know that expecting a Chinese dish to be perfect in the restaurant named Andhra ruchulu is bit hard. But, if it is not going to be a better version then it should be removed from the menu. Not to be simply replaced by an alternate item. As I have tasted dragon chicken many times, it immediately made me feel oh god this isn't exactly the dish i ordered. The surprise was, it was served as if we don't know the taste of dragon chiken. If someone could tell me whether u were in this situation, then it wud be a great help for me to understand better on this item 'Hunan chicken'. I may be wrong. But as a foodie, I do have a basic knowledge on specific items which I regularly eat in the restaurants.
Also, we ordered mutton pepper dry, chicken ghee roast. Both were really good and spicy. Atlast, I was happy that I could get the real Andhra taste.
Ambience was good. Service was good.
Rate was ok but not fair...
Read moreWe visited this place at Mysore on 9.30 pm yesterday we were 14 people all family went for dinner after travelling from Bangalore Initially we placed orders for starters and the steward ask us place the main course as they take last order Max by 10..30pm we told okay and placed main course. But to our surprise all orders including starters roti rice everything were served all together in our table. We told them sir still we have not completed our staters how come you getting roti and rice. They were rude and told that's the way they serve as the kitchen is closed. When I asked for a manager to come that guy didn't turned up till our dinner is over. We ate everything in a hurry to fill our stomach not to enjoy the dinner and experience the new place and nenu. The service was so bad even when we told them serve all the plates with gravy curry they were least bothered to listen to us. We have to pass on ourselves and finished dinner. After that I saw the manager and went near him told him that your service team is very bad and rude he was least bothered and went on arguing with us and justifying the service what he is doing is correct I asked him why did you come when I called one hour back. He gave me that he was busy in kitchen.
