Kochi Caprice – A Complete Nightmare! DO NOT Book This Hotel!

I’ve stayed in many hotels, but Kochi Caprice is by far the worst. This place is an absolute disaster from start to finish, and I would urge anyone considering booking here to run as far away as possible.

First off, the service was a joke. The staff, especially Akshay, were not only unhelpful but downright rude. They treated us as if we were begging for their charity, even though we paid a ridiculous amount for the stay. The level of disrespect and incompetence was off the charts. It felt like we were intruding on their space, not the other way around.

The food situation? Unbelievable. The ONLY thing they served was idly, and you were lucky if you got one piece per person. Want more? Too bad—you’ll have to pay extra for that too. The staff kept changing their story about what was included, which was utterly confusing and infuriating. It was like they were making up the rules as they went along. I've never been treated like this in any hotel before.

And don’t even get me started on the room. The lies they tell about their rooms are borderline criminal. We were promised an additional bed at no extra charge. Guess what? When we arrived, they demanded more money for it, and on top of that, they had the audacity to increase the room rent without any warning. It’s a classic bait-and-switch scam.

The room itself was nothing short of a nightmare. It looked absolutely NOTHING like the pictures they showed when we booked. It was filthy, poorly maintained, and certainly not worth a fraction of what we paid. It felt like we were being punished for booking with them.

In conclusion, Kochi Caprice is a disaster of a hotel. If you want to waste your money, get mistreated, and deal with horrendous service, then go ahead and book this dump. But if you have any self-respect or value your time and money, STAY FAR AWAY from this place. There are plenty of better options out there—this hotel is...

The room and bathroom were so untidy. When i arrived at first, they allocated me a room. As i opened the door, there was a man cleaning inside. This was very inconsiderate as i was a solo female traveller. Felt very unsafe. I asked for another already ready room. That room smelled very bad. The bathroom smelled of urine. I asked them to clean it again. The cleaner was murmuring the whole time like he was unhappy i asked for another cleaning. He just sprayed some room freshner in the bathroom, poured water over the floor and wiped it. Very bad service. As it was already night, I couldnt go for another hotel. Orelse i definitely would have checked out on the spot. The bedsheets had stains on them. The floors were sticky. The door had no proper lock. It was broken. Only keyless handle lock was there. No toiletries were provided. TV was not working. Windows didnot shut properly. The only good thing was that the reception staff behaved well even though they seemed confused about room availability and there was hot water provision in bathroom full time. AC was...

WORST EXPERIENCE!! Even though the check-in time was 12pm, we reached the place only by 4pm and yet they made us wait for 20mins saying that the cleaning is in process. The bad experience doesn't end there. There was no shower towels in the room and called the room service/reception thrice and they kept on saying that they will provide it soon and after the fourth call they said that the towels are there at the laundry and need to wait. They didn't even care to update with the availablity of towels or anything. Finally, by 11:30pm, we got the towels after making few more calls which was not even clean. It was raining and we couldn't go out and buy towels. There was a foul smell coming from bathroom and there wasn't any air freshner or anything. The thing is, the management doesn't care to keep the rooms clean or even the towels/pillow covers clean, the don't even know about the customer service too or may be not bothered.
