If you're ever in the mood for bad food, worse service, and the lingering aroma of what might’ve been vomit, then boy, Kitchen Zaika is your dream destination.

I walked in, clueless about the avalanche of negative reviews this place had racked up (my mistake). Thought I’d keep it simple and asked for a shawarma—you know, something basic. But nope. The guy at the counter responded with the kind of tone that made me wonder if I’d just insulted his entire family. “Only fried rice.” That’s it. No smile, no manners, just vibes—terrible ones.

So I reluctantly ordered fried rice with chilli chicken, because I was already trapped. Quantity-wise, sure—it could feed one hungry soul. But the smell in the dining area? Let’s just say if you’ve ever wanted to eat in a room that faintly smells like someone just puked and left, this is your place.

Now for the food:

Fried rice came with chicken that tasted like it retired last week and was dug up for one last hurrah. Chilli chicken? More like salt chicken, and definitely freezer-aged and reheated to death. There wasn’t a single other customer, and now I understand why. Probably scared them all away with the price tag that had no business being that high for food this bad. Oh, and the staff? While I was trying to survive my meal, two of the servers were running around the dining room, chucking things at each other like school kids on a sugar high. I kid you not. I kept waiting for a plate to fly past me. Fine dining? More like fine dodging. Seriously, save yourself. There are street carts with better hygiene, better food, and actual...

Worst hotel in ernakulam/kochi... Customer service was very bad. Ordered chicken manchow soup and chicken biryani... Being from Hyderabad and assuming a great taste...ordered in this hotel... But the taste was very cheap quality... Manchow in the chicken soup were rotten...the soup was full with ginger and garlic without proper roasting. Rice in chicken biryani was like left over rice from last night... Hardly are anything after ordering... Even after complaining to the receptionist...there was no proper response... Waste of money...
