This is not a review of this property, but typing down my love towards this city.I visited kochi for the first time, when I was 12.Time flies, I enjoyed the streets of kochi virtually as we live in the era of social media boom and many of my friends' viewfinders. Suddenly the old memories started haunting me . I haven't seen the new Kochi, all I have is the fragments of memories which I got from maiden visit which was 12 years ago. It took me another 12 years to experience the new kochi, but unfortunately that was a one day trip π. I'm a kind of slow traveler who enjoys to spend 3 or 4 days at a particular region without any worries. The rise of social media made things easier and many new places came to our attention. Using Google maps, I have marked the best spots to visit. That's how I ended up here, at Raintree lodge. I'll come back again to enjoy the whole thing of kochi and I am so excited about what this city is going...

The price is very reasonable for what was on offer (and compared to a lot of other hotels in Fort Kochi). Rooms are compact but perfectly comfortable, and the bathrooms are well designed in that taking a shower does not flood the whole loo. A very minor gripe is that the rooms could be soundproofed a little better against street noise. ||As previous reviews mention, the first floor rooms are better than the ground floor as a lot of tourists tend to take pictures outside the hotel. There is no on-site restaurant - however, there are many excellent restaurants and cafes within a five-minute walk of the hotel.||Would happily...
Β Β Β Read moreRaintree lodge is a good hotel to stay in Fort Kochi. Hotel entrance gives a picturesque view of forest(creepers) and attract tourists and photographers. It's a small and old hotel with limited number of rooms in a quite street of fort kochi. Room was quite big with old furnitures which gives a old world charm. We have not opted for breakfast or dinner, hence have no idea about the food. The best part of this hotel is the location. The streets in and around this hotel gives a very classy feel, surrounded by beautiful gardens, cafes and restaurants. |One small change required is the repairing of furnitures like chairs and table, which are in a bad shape. |Overall...
