Kochi Beach is one of my favorite beaches in Kerala, holding countless memorable moments for me. It is one of the best beaches I have ever seen. The sight of ships passing by, the vast expanse of the sea, and the breathtaking sunrise all contribute to its charm. The natural beauty and tranquility of the beach make it a perfect spot for relaxation and reflection. However, I am deeply concerned about the current state of the beach. The maintenance has been poor, and the condition of the beach is deteriorating day by day. Litter is often scattered around, and the once pristine shoreline is now marred by pollution. This decline is heartbreaking, especially for those of us who have cherished this beach for so long. Moreover, there is a significant lack of safety measures for visitors. The absence of lifeguards, inadequate lighting, and insufficient safety signs make it a hazardous place, especially for families and children. This lack of security makes me worry every time I visit. I strongly believe that the government should take immediate action to preserve and protect Kochi Beach. Building a seawall could help prevent further erosion and protect the beach from the encroaching sea. Enhanced maintenance, regular cleaning, and improved safety measures are crucial to restoring and maintaining the beauty and safety of this beloved beach. Kochi Beach is a treasure that deserves to be preserved for future generations to enjoy.

Often hailed as the 'Queen of the Arabian Sea', the Kochi beach justifies its beauty during the sunset. Pros : 1. Scenic Beauty : Renowned for its pristine ambience, surrounded with huge boulders - which makes it a perfect spot for photography. 2. Festive Spirit : The area is full of beach-sellers & eateries selling teas, sweetcorns, potato spirals to great sea water fishes. It made me feel like I'm into a fair or something. 3. Connected via Kochi Water Metro : The nearby kochi water metro is a must-try! This is world's first water metro inaugurated last year. I think that makes it so special! Cons : 1. Crowdy during peak hours : The quality of experiencing sunset largely subsided beacuase of lack of crowd management. As a result, the place got full of garbages. 2. Lack of Public Toilets : If you're in dire need of responding to a nature's call, you have walk for 10-15 minutes to get a public toilet near the bustand at the end of water metro. Overall, this will be a memorable visit for you and your family. If you're in Kochi, don't miss visiting the Kochi beach!
