An amazing restaurant which serves quality food at Fort Kochi. Rasoi - Flavours of India. I knew about this place from a colleague of mine and have been thinking about this for a while. I was thinking they are concentrating only on North Indian food, but to my surprise they have added few Kerala dishes as well to be truthful to the tagline, Flavors of India. Restaurant wasn't crowded, but had two families dining when we reached there. We were greeted by a person named Bibin and he took care of us from then, suggesting dishes, explaining ingredients and carefully trying to understand what's in our mind as well. We were given Papad first to not get bored while we wait. Tried Chicken Almond soup (really rich and creamy) and Manchow soup (not in Menu, so in bill it's different - this was kinda spicy and flavorful). They suggested Chatpata Lollipop (chicken)- as they mentioned it is spicy we said our kid may not like it. They prepared 2 less spicy pieces for my kid. Impressed with the personal attention. We ordered Manpasand Murgh Tikka- succulent pieces of chicken again , which melts in mouth. They suggested Kerala Prawns masala - have to say one of the best Prawns dish I've ever had. Masala really blended well with Prawns and we made sure they didn't have to wash that plate. We thought will try some Vegetarian dish as well, and went for Malai Kofta - which again was rich and creamy. We had Butter roti & naan with this. Overall a very good place where we (all 4 of us + my 3 year baby) felt all dishes to be really tasty and authentic. What makes me sad is that this place is 25kms far from...

Read moreThis place was highly recommended by plenty of my friends. I didn't think much but still decided to give it a try as when it comes to food, the only way you can know it is good is if you have tried it out. I must say I was surprised by the flavours, the variety and the overall experience. The ambience is quite nice. The staff is extremely friendly. The drinks- in my case, I had the cold coffee, lemon juice and lemon and mint juice. All these was soothing and nice. I tried a lot of dishes and all of it was delicious. My favorite was the mutton Rogan josh, which was tender to the touch, melts in the mouth and bursting with flavours. This dish with garlic butter naan just takes you to another level. The fish dish and the Punjabi chuck n was not bad too. We had the chicken almond soup and the cream of sea food, which was all yummy. The kebab platter was delicious too. Overall enjoyed the experience. The fact that it is always crowded speaks for itself. The price ranges from 300+ to 400+. The drinks are quite reasonable. A must try north Indian...
