Indulging in the chocolate cake from Kashi Art Cafe is nothing short of embarking on a delectable journey that unveils layers of flavors and textures. From the moment the first forkful makes contact with your taste buds, it's evident that this dessert is a creation born out of culinary artistry. The richness of the chocolate cake is a symphony of deep, velvety cocoa notes that wrap around your senses like a warm embrace. With each bite, the cake's undercurrent of slight undercooking becomes a subtle touch that adds to its allure. The slightly gooey texture, a testament to its skilled preparation, creates a harmonious marriage between the outer layer and the inner core. What truly transforms this chocolate cake into a masterpiece is the artful addition of the thick chocolate sauce. As it cascades over the cake, it's as if the heavens have opened up to bless the dessert with an exquisite elixir. This sauce acts as a transformative agent, melding seamlessly with the cake's natural flavor profile. The result is a symphony of sweetness that dances upon the taste buds. The cake's inherent less-sweet nature finds its perfect counterpart in the indulgent sweetness of the chocolate sauce, creating a delicate balance that is nothing short of divine. The amalgamation of contrasting textures and flavors is where this dessert truly shines. The interplay between the slightly undercooked cake and the heavenly chocolate sauce elevates the experience to an entirely new realm of indulgence. Each forkful becomes a sensory delight, an exploration of taste and texture that keeps you yearning for more. In the end, the chocolate cake from Kashi Art Cafe is a testament to the magic that can be created when culinary craftsmanship is combined with an understanding of flavors. It's a dessert that defies expectations, capturing the essence of indulgence while maintaining a level of sophistication that is truly admirable. With its rich, undercooked texture and a strategic marriage with the thick chocolate sauce, this chocolate cake transcends the ordinary and ascends to the realm of unforgettable culinary experiences.

During my recent visit to Kashi Art Cafe, I was pleasantly surprised by the remarkable experience it offered, despite its small space. The café's size may be modest, but it manages to pack an abundance of authenticity, flavor, and artistic charm into every square inch. What truly sets Kashi Art Cafe apart is its ability to deliver a truly authentic culinary journey. Each dish I sampled was a flavorful masterpiece that transported me to the heart of its cuisine's origin. From the first bite to the last, I could taste the dedication and expertise that went into the preparation. The use of aromatic spices and perfectly balanced flavors showcased the chef's passion for their craft. It was an absolute delight for my taste buds. Beyond the incredible food, Kashi Art Cafe embraces a unique and captivating artistic vibe. The walls adorned with local artwork and the carefully curated sculptures create an atmosphere that is both inspiring and inviting. As I enjoyed my meal, I couldn't help but be uplifted by the creative energy that surrounded me. It was a refreshing departure from typical dining experiences. Despite the limited space, the staff at Kashi Art Cafe was attentive and provided exceptional service. They were knowledgeable about the menu and gladly accommodated any dietary preferences or restrictions. Their friendly and warm approach added to the overall welcoming ambiance. If you're seeking an unforgettable dining experience that combines authentic cuisine with an artsy vibe, Kashi Art Cafe is a must-visit destination. Don't let its size deceive you; this hidden gem offers a remarkable journey for the senses. I wholeheartedly recommend exploring this enchanting café and savoring its delicious offerings.

We went to Kashi Art Cafe for lunch during our trip to Fort Kachi and had a wonderful experience. The cafe space is really done fantastically. There’s beautiful artworks, from abstract sculptures to the seamless blend of nature with the cafe area, it sets a very chill vibe for your meal time. Impressive ambience. The waiters are attentive and the service is great too. Everyone was so sweet. What we tried: Their special no-sugar no-ice juices: Hydration station (watermelon & cucumber based) & Tropical Bliss (strawberry, melon, & banana based). Both were quite refreshing. Press Coffee Avocado toast - Honestly, I am someone who isn't a big fanod avocados but this one was done so right, I loved it. Yes, it was that good. A must try if you're looking for a healthy breakfast option on your Fort Kochi trip. Eurasian Fish and Rice: the fish curry tasted fab. A must try if you love fishes. Best preparation of fish I have had on my Kerala trip. Asian Stir Fried Beef Bowl: this became an instant personal favorite. Chocolate cake: This one is the classic Kashi Art Cafe one, a favorite among many people, as you might see from the reviews and it totally lived up to its hype. The cake was yum and all of that chocolate syrup - uff a heaven for a sweet tooth. Don't think I'll stop gushing about it- it was that good. Every food came with a pretty big portion size. Big ops to the chef for nailing every single dish. Definitely going here again when I come visit Fort Kochi in the future. Would recommend the cafe to anyone visiting Fort Kochi neighborhood looking for some great food with great ambience.

One of the most beautiful places in Fort Kochi, Kashi is a gorgeous art cafe located on Princess Street. With a small entryway into a courtyard full of art, sculptures and murals, eating at Kashi makes you feel like you are part of the exhibit. Usually always having a waiting time owing to its popularity, Kashi keeps you busy at the lobby with a large supply of art books and paintings. Once you get a table, if you're lucky you will get one of the seats at the far end, or the entrance where you can lounge at ease. If not you and your friends will be squashed into a table at the side with a great view of the bathroom. The food at Kashi is DIVINE. Everything we tried was heavenly and left us wanting more. The Asian Stir Fried Beef Bowl and the Chocolate Brownie with Ice-Cream were both to die for. Only thing I would say is that the dishes are rather expensive and on the higher end to prepare yourself. The service at Kashi is also quite efficient, especially considering how chock-full it is every day. But what I love about this place is its commitment to art. The dishes are a mural for the chef and the large surplus of art is a great accompaniment to the ambience of Kashi. Genuinely had a lovely time and would recommend highly.

This is a charming little cafe on a popular tourist street of Fort Kochi. We chanced upon it as we were walking around and walked in because it looked like an interesting art gallery from the outside. The front hall as a changing exhibit of works by a contemporary artist. Inside is a beautiful green oasis with sculptures, murals, lots of plants, tasteful furniture and beautiful looking food. We started with the sprouted salad with garlic bread which was delicious. As we were eating the salad, another server walked in with what looked like an art piece carved out of a watermelon. It was watermelon feta salad. Since we went in after dark, the mosquitoes had become active. When we told this to the staff there, they promptly arranged for an insect repellent agarbatti, allowing us to sit for longer to have the aglio olio pasta. It was delicious as well, with a generous sprinkling of good quality parmesan cheese. We missed out on their chocolate cheese cake, since the piece looked big enough for 4 and we were only two. Several other items also sounded inviting enough to taste. This a wonderful place to spend an immersive evening with a group of friends, family or just as a couple. Highly recommend this cafe when you are in Kochi.

This is an art themed cafe as the name suggests. The interiors are great. Cosy seating area. Love the concept. But tons of flies that really mars the entire experience. We ordered Wasabi chicken sandwich, cold espresso with coconut milk and honey (stir before you take that first sip!), chocolate cake( Highlight. Hands down), cold coffee with icecream. Pros: 1) Amazing food. Slightly overpriced but desserts and beverages are worth it! 2) Full marks on ambience. Cons: 1) When you are paying that much for the sandwich (2 layers but yes filling is generous) , you would expect at least fries to go along with it. Or a dip with the sandwich if not anything. Here we got store bought tapioca chips which we left anyway. 2) flies: Pic attached. As soon as the food came, we had loads of flies in the table as well. It was exasperating to keep swatting the flies away while trying to eat the food. Forget having a conversation because by then at least 5 or 6 flies would be sitting on the food. Hack: Offer the Fly Gods a portion of the meal (We gave a spoonful of choc cake). Won't say it worked wonders but at least reduced the visitors on the plate.
