Overall, our stay at Mumulu Inn in Varkala was an absolute delight! This charming homestay, run by Amruth and his family, offers a warm and welcoming experience that truly made us feel at home.

Located on South Cliff, the Mumulu inn is just a short walk from the beach, making it a perfect spot for those who love the sea. Popular cafes like Sarwaa Cafe and Trip is Life are also nearby, adding to the convenience.

The rooms were spacious, spotless, and well-maintained, equipped with all the necessary facilities for a comfortable stay. The peaceful atmosphere made our experience even more enjoyable.

Amruth was an exceptional host, always ready to help with local recommendations. He guided us for a mangrove safari and suggested must-visit attractions around Varkala, which made our trip even more memorable.

A special highlight was their beautiful garden with two big mango trees. Amruth generously shared some fresh mangoes with us, and they were absolutely delicious!

An absolute pleasure to have found the warm hospitality of hometsay hosts Amruth and his wife Praseetha on the South Cliff of Varkala. Located just behind the cliff with two access points to the beach, this home in a quiet residential area is full of love while also respecting and offering privacy with two modern XL ensuite rooms on the ground floor with amazing king size beds with full wall sized wardrobes, AC and fans. I stayed in one of these rooms for three nights. The ensuite bathroom could fit four people it was so big. There is also plenty of communal space including a roof terrace with seating.
