Hotel Kodai Plaza — Hotel in Kodaikanal

We (I & my wife) were planning a trip to Kodai from BLR for some time and booked the hotel online via cleartrip. Our travel to Kodai was via KSRTC Volvo bus.||Location : - We specifically chose this hotel since it is within walkable distance to the main bus stand , croakers walk , bryant park & the lake but not too close to the noise of the main bus stand area. ||We stayed here for three days.. Day one was spent in lake visit, cycling & boating. Enjoyed the crisp evening at Bryant park .||Day two was taken up for berijam lake and nearby places as it is slightly far & requires permit. Day three we covered for guna caves, pillar rocks and nearby places as we had to leave early for bus.. Did some shopping for chocolates, nilgiri oils & speciality fruits while returning. ||Rooms :- The hotel ambience is quiet and peaceful. We were allotted room no 301 which we found to be very neat and comfortable. The bathroom was clean as well. ||Service :- I would like to thank the staff for making our stay a pleasure , also for the quick room service & arranging sightseeing with a very knowledgeable guide & driver (Mr Ansari). ||It was an enjoyable trip away from BLR heat :)... We would definitely recommend this hotel for couples...

We stayed 6th and 7th feb 2021.we have booked 2 rooms through online .wen we reached and checked rooms relay very bad condition. we reached night 9pm. We already paid the cash while booking so we have no other choice. stayed their only.They spoiled our next day also no current no hot water wen we asked they telling 5 minuts we waited till 9 but we Don't get hot water. finally we fresh up cold water only.They don't have a lift in the hotel.They didn't provide any towels. Don't expect room service from them. The road is very narrow,..and in wash room all taps are broke condition. I can't say it value for money. I can't recommend this to my friends....worsted hotel ..........i can't rate 0 for...

Pros:||||-Located behind the bus stand(near Rifaya and Pleasant stay la flora hotels)||-Easy access by walk from bus stand.||-Room and Bathroom were neat and tidy.||-Power and Water supply were available always.||-Hotel incharge and staff were helpful.||-CRT TV with almost all channels.||-Quiet and Safe for families.||||Cons:||-They have the control of the water heater and only enable in the morning timings usually(but upon request they turned on for us even after regular timings)||-The closest segment of the street is very narrow so it is not possible for two cars to cross.||-Room was very small.||-No Cupboard.||-No Elevator||||--Overall one of the best...
