Hotel Rifaya — Hotel in Kodaikanal

Not recommended at all Room was pretty average, Showers and the bathroom fittings are in horrible condition. Bus stand and other amenities are not reachable. If you want to have food you have to book a cab seperately which involves more cost. Below Acts to deceive the money from customers: I had checked for the availability over a call and got informed about the price and Mr. Gani provided us the pickup and asked to pay more with the price he mentioned, when enquired he said it's for GST, But he didn't do any billing. When asked he provided just the advance payment written receipt. He made a cab arrangement with Mr. Justin Karthik as a driver after the discussion we made some initial payments in G Pay and the transaction was failed at that time, after end of the trip we gave the complete money to him, also he added some fare just before the start of the trip, which is highly unprofessional After two days the transaction got successful and he didn't even had the courtesy to refund the amount he...

Worst... I have stayed there for 3 days.. For the 1st day hot water was available rest of the 2 days no hot water.. Too much cost for breakfast and no room service was available whenever calling the room service from the room. No one will pick the call.. And if you go to the reception area also.. There will be no person available at lobby 😡 we need to search for the person.. And to ask them our need then only it'll be done to you.. Since its kodaikanal hillstation ,They dont provide you extra blankets.. 😡only one blanket was given myslef and my wife,we were shivering all day and night... Totally an horrible experience at "Hotel Rifaya" please don't choose this place they cost you 1000 for couple room per day but this place does not worth evan a single penny.. Worst!!!...

I was denied car parking event though I said I will come in the evening for checkin . I booked hotel one week back . Since there was temple function they wanted to retain the room with higher price. I have travelled for thirteen years and mostly went by car. Even stayed in 4 star hotels where they allow car parking since room is booked a week back or even a day back. But the arrogance is too high. When in asked can I come and checkin in the evening the receptionist said it's ur wish sir if u want to come or not. Courtesy is missing with the staffs . A senior person took my booking he was more humble but other staffs are rough handling customers. I don't suggest this hotel who are dignified and have self respect. Any self respect person will not go and stay...
