Hotel AL Burj International — Hotel in Kolkata

I had a very disappointing experience at this hotel. The moment I entered the room, it was clear that cleanliness was completely ignored. The room was dirty, the bedsheet and blanket had a very bad smell, and they didn’t look washed at all. It was honestly uncomfortable to even sit on the bed. There were no towels provided, and when I asked for one, no one bothered to respond properly.

The air conditioner was leaking water continuously, making the floor wet and slippery, which added to the discomfort. The overall service was the worst I’ve ever experienced — the staff were unhelpful, rude, and showed no concern for the guests. Their behaviour was extremely unprofessional, and communication was very poor; they didn’t seem to understand or care about what I was saying.

I would definitely not recommend this hotel to anyone. It was a complete waste of money and peace of mind. Management really needs to take guest comfort seriously and improve their standards in every possible way — cleanliness, service, and...

Its my 3rd visit over there hotel is in prime location both park Street Metro and the main road are just a short walk away. Check-in and check-out were seamless, and the staff were incredibly warm, friendly, and always ready to help. Room service was quick and efficient. The room had all the basic amenities—AC, TV, wifi —all in perfect working condition. The washroom was very clean and equipped with all modern amenities including a geyser. The entire hotel was spotlessly clean and well-maintained. I see that most of the reviews have 5 stars. However, my experience wasn’t that good. Rooms are terribly small. After putting our 3 trolley bags, there was a little space to walk around. The bathroom was tiny as well. I could hardly sit on the commode comfortably as there were not enough leg spaces. The rooms were not clean either. There was dust everywhere. It has a lift but is very small, enough to give space to 3 persons.
