Eaterniaa — Restaurant in Kolkata

I feel glad that I came across this hidden gem of Park Street and I am able to share my experience with all of you . Park Street is flooded with restaurants and cafes and not many of you know this small little place located exactly beside the lane of Westside which leads to Ripon street triangular park .

This place is basically a garage turned into a small yet well decorated cafe with sitting arrangements for 10 people at a time . One would see colourful pictures of different dishes hang on the walls , chilled ac will help you in this hot summer while you go through the long menu card which has varieties of options to choose from . Now why would someone choose this place when they have hundreds of other options ? The answer lies in the budget , they are the most pocket friendly in that area as most of their dishes are below 150 and hence they are the best option for school students ,college goers and people with low budget . Not only that, quality is very well maintained even at that price which is something praiseworthy .

They have started a new section in their menu named "Dishes starting at 49" in which they have included small portions of every dish so that even single person can enjoy their food without wasting much . They also have included some shakes and desserts in that section as well .

Here is a short review of a sample of dishes out of the huge population .

• Chicken steam momo - priced at 99 rupees only, a plate of momo has 6 pieces of bite sized momos , served with a hot sauce and a bowl of chicken stew . Momos have very good stuffing of chicken and has promising flavours . The chicken stew compliments the momos to the fullest .

•Meat lovers' burger - Another stunner of a dish . This burger has lots of chicken in it . Be it the chicken patty or chicken sausages ,every bite of it will have some protein in it. The huge juicy burgers are to die for ,served with chips on the sides.

• American Corn Pepper Salt - Corns coated in flour and stir fried with pepper and salt to give it a nice aroma and make it crispy and crunchy . A vegetarian delight priced only at 109 .

•Stir fried Schezwan Prawns - Prawns coated in regular flour and then stir fried in spicy and tangy Schezwan sauce . Flavours have a perfect balance among themselves . This dish is priced at 189 , prawns are costly everyone knows that .

Veg Pasta white sauce (Small portion)- Although small in portion yet it has plenty to offer you . Lots of cheese and well cooked pasta is always a great combination . Priced only at 79 this one is somewhat enough for one hungry soul .

•Chicken fried rice with Chicken Manchurian (4 pcs) combo- This is a complete meal priced only at 139 which is surprisingly good and has great value for money . The fried rice has enough chunks of chicken and as always goes very well with the chicken Manchurian balls on the sides.

•Chocolate milkshake - Just a regular chocolate milkshake sweet and tasty.

This place has lots to offer starting from great service to a great meal which will leave you with a happy face . Cheers to the team of Eaterniaa hope they prosper...

Eaterniaa is a small pocket friendly eatery located in the Park Street area, two minutes walking distance from Westside. It is truly a hidden gem in all aspects. Although the place is small, it is very nicely decorated, with colourful walls and framed pictures. Seating capacity is about 10-12. The amazing food and the pocket friendly prices will keep you attracted to this place. They have a special menu stating from Rs.49 only, which is great for school and college students.

Here's the food, we tried,

• Chicken Pasta is cheese sauce : The penne pasta was cooked perfectly, the sause was perfectly creamy and cheesy. Chicken was in ample quantity. It was topped with some more grated cheese. This dish is priced at Rs.99 and is perfectly filling for one person.

• American Corn Pepper Salt : Crispy batter fried Sweet corns tossed in some salt and pepper along with spring onion greens and garnished with some carrots. Perfect option for a healthy vegetarian snack.

• Meat lovers Burger : Although I am not a big burger fan, but I was totally drooling over this burger. It had a thick, juicy chicken patty and also some fried sausages. The bun was lightly toasted and it was served with some lays chips.

Delivery review:

Firstly, The temperature of the chef, food packer and rider was mentioned on the package. The packing was also done with great care, all the items were wrapped seperately, provided with disposable cutleries and hand sanitizer. Coming to the food we ordered - Stir fried Schezwan Fish with dried chili : A lipsmacking appetizer, perfect for all the spicy food lovers! Soft and juicy fish was tossed in Schezwan sauce along with red chillies.

Egg Roll : This is the kolkata style egg roll, made with a soft and flaky paratha coated with thick layer of fried egg and a stuffing of onions and capcicum. The roll was quite filling, enough to satiate one person.

Deluxe Veg pizza : This one is a medium sized pizza with a thin soft base, and topped with ample amount of paneer cubes and fresh veggies like, bell peppers, corn, mushrooms and ofcourse a good quantity of cheese.

Indian Chicken combo : It is a simple and delicious combo consisting of Steamed Rice, 2 pcs Roti, Chicken Curry, Yellow dal fry, Aloo matar subzi and onion salad. All the items paired well with each other and the quantity was more than enough for one person.

Finally, I gulped all these down with a cool and refreshing Lemon Sherbat. There was a perfect balance between sweetness and tang in the drink.

Overall, I really loved the place. Both the quality of the food and the affordable price will definitely make me come back...

Eaternia( Ripon Street, near Park Street, Kolkata) is a place where you can get different kinds of pizza,burger,momo,pasta,wings, sandwich, chicken nuggets and many more Chinese food.10-12 people can accommodate at a time.Food delivery is also available from here through the food delivery apps.Nearby office employees and school college students can try this for a short meal. Here we first had Veg dumpling soup (₹119) which consists of 2 dumplings full with veggies and the soup was clear warm and full with veggies.To start a warmly meal you can try this.Then we took Veg Mini Pizza (₹59) which was small in size and had 4 parts.The crust was very soft and the pizza was full with corn and cheese.After that we tried 'Chicken Medium Pizza Combo'. Chicken Medium Pizza Combo (₹199) is one of the famous invention of this place.Itconsists of a medium size chicken pizza,4 pcs. Garlic breads and softdrinks.According to the prize it's a delicious combo to prevent your hunger at any time.The pizza was soft, crunchy full of chicken and the garlic breads are also well spiced and crunchy.Next we had 'Wings on Fire'(₹179).The chicken wings was well cooked with BBQ sauce and this dish will really set a fire in your tastebuds.After that the last but not the least we took Herb Rice with Chicken in Cheese sauce (₹169).The dish was very simple not spicy.But you will get an awesome taste in every bite.The rice was well cooked and the chicken was cooked in cheese sauce with lots of veggies.Cheese lovers will definitely like it.
