This hotel is really at a very good place and comfortable for all people who stay here. This hotel is located near police thana road and approximately 300 meter distance from taxi stand. Main Shimla market is also at a through distance from here. Ramkrishna paramhans office is also nearby place. This hotel is available on the foothills of Shillong but at a very prime location. Views from this hotel are really awesome. There are 4 floors in this hotel with proper lift facility. There is no air conditioning in this hotel, but no problem it's okay because there is no need of air conditioning because you'll feel winter even you open your fan. This hotel's room are also perfect but small, but views from rooms are really awesome. This hotel's views also make it a romantic place to stay. This hotel is also tie up with Bank of Baroda and UCO bank for providing holiday home facility to said bank's employees. Both banks have 4 rooms in this hotel. Hotel staff and receptionist is very helpful in nature and provides full support to all tourists. If you want rented bikes etc then you can also contanct to hotel administration and they will provide accordingly, if available. So it's overall a good area to stay...

My wife and I stayed a week in Shillong, longer than planned, and partly because we were so comfortable in this hotel. We were actually the first foreigners to stay here. The front desk staff are friendly and helpful, they accommodated changes in our plans, they ask us frequently if there is anything they can do for us, and they seem genuinely interested in making our stay a good one. The hotel is brand new, immaculately clean, well maintained, beds are amongst the most comfortable we have had in India, the room is well furnished with tables and wardrobe (though no desk), wifi is strong, and (rare in the Northeast) the TV includes English channels. A simple but good breakfast is served in the room. The hotel is very central but is on a quiet lane. In five weeks of travelling throughout the Northeast, we feel that this is the best hotel and probably the best value hotel that we have stayed in within this price range. We recommend the Hotel Island Park Residency...

I had a MakeMyTrip mishap because of which i had to cancel the booking. However, during my stay and while I was looking for another place, the staff treated me so well, did not ask me to vacate even when the booking cancelled, offered me a complimentary coffee while I was really stressed out because of MMT, all this knowing that I might just leave without paying anything at all. It was extremely graceful of the front desk staff. Cannot thank them enough. And they even gave me a discount on my one night stay. Apart from this , the rooms were extremely well maintained and clean. Hospitality to the maximum. Just that the room was very small for us so we had to leave.

Anyone visiting Shillong must directly call these people and book instead of MMT and other apps as they hike the prices to 3 times the worth Exclude the corporates. Support local. Beautiful people of the northeast....
