Introduction: I recently had the pleasure of staying at Casa Mel in Pondicherry, and it was an unforgettable experience. My visit was for a leisurely getaway, and Casa Mel truly exceeded my expectations.

Location: Casa Mel's location is perfect for exploring Pondicherry. It's nestled in a quiet neighborhood, providing a peaceful escape from the bustling city center. Yet, it's just a short drive or walk to the iconic White Town and Promenade Beach.

Check-in: The check-in process was a breeze. The staff members were warm, welcoming, and exceptionally attentive. They provided a wealth of information about local attractions and dining options.

Room: I stayed in one of their charming deluxe rooms, and it was immaculate. The room was tastefully decorated with a mix of modern amenities and a touch of traditional elegance. The comfortable bed and serene ambiance ensured a restful night's sleep.

Service: The service at Casa Mel is truly exceptional. The staff consistently went above and beyond to make my stay comfortable and memorable. They were always ready to assist with any request, from arranging transportation to recommending hidden gems in Pondicherry.

Facilities: This boutique hotel boasts a lovely courtyard where you can unwind with a book or enjoy a cup of coffee. They also have a rooftop terrace with a stunning view of the city. It's a perfect spot to watch the sunset.

Dining: I had the pleasure of dining at their in-house restaurant, which offered a delightful fusion of local and international cuisine. The flavors were exquisite, and the presentation was artful.

Value for Money: Casa Mel offers exceptional value for the quality of service and amenities provided. It's a boutique hotel that feels like a luxury escape without the hefty price tag.

Casa Mel - Pondicherry:-

This cozy stay at the heart of the city, hits the 5 star rating with rooms, service, location and there should have honestly been more categories to rate, because this place would hit 5 stars with everything according to me.

Stayed there for three nights and felt like extending my stay, not only because it was Pondicherry for me, but because I felt that Casa Mel gave me the feeling of both my comfort space and cozy space, which drove in the feeling of not wanting to leave.

Rooms at Casa Mel are just the right size, with excellent interiors, super tidy bathrooms and great ventilation. Located at the heart of the city, you do feel every tourist spot, shopping centre, popular cafes and gastropubs are within walking distances. For those of you who do not like to walk, the two wheeler rentals (most popular way of commute in Pondicherry for a tourist) is on the parallel block of Casa Mel, and its hardly a two minute walk, to the rentals.

Kuharaj & Shiva, the men under the spotlight at Casa Mel, make sure that no request, doubt, clarification of a guest goes unanswered at Casa Mel. They manage the entire process so beautifully from enquiry to check out, that you can be rest assured that you will have a great stay since the planning stages of your trip.

I wouldn’t prefer staying anywhere else, but Casa Mel for my trips to Pondicherry going forward, because I know everything will be taken care off.

Not to miss out adding on to my review, but the talk of the hour is that Casa Mel, has just inaugurated its brand new 1BHK stay, which I am super pumped to go see during my next trip, because if the regular rooms are this comforting and cozy, then you can be rest assured the 1BHK will surpass that in its own way.

A thank you wouldn’t be enough, Ayush, Rhea, Kuharaj & Shiva for everything you do to bring in a smile on peoples faces when you host them at your stay, but its just admiration to the dedication each one of you have!

I was here with my lil sister for a 3 night stay! We booked room style accomodation (they also have studio apartment for which we were late). The cleanliness, amenities and interiors everything was 👌. Raj was always there as our bnb host to assist with anything n everything we needed. Be it providing us with the list of places in Pondi to visit, giving us details about visiting timings or helping us with getting auto arranged. He even upgraded us to a better room as soon as it was available. ( we were late in booking at the last moment, else they will give you a good room anyway).

Ishwar, our guy at the property who was on ground to help with everything we wanted. Not to lie, we dis rely on him at odd times too but he was very patient, kind and the sweetest soul out there. Don't miss out talking to him and you ll be delighted by his service.

The proximity of thus location takes the maximum points because you can easily roam around white town, promenande and heritage town, on foot! All famous cafes and eateries were a stone throw away, and it made travelling so convenient.

Brownie tip: they have a rooftop bar cafe too , very close to their bnb, named - 'Mel Whisks'. We got to experience their weekend live music with two amazing artists, a very happenig crowd and lip smacking food. Our very first night of the stay we were invited there. U should absolutely be there if u wany to have a cozy rooftop with lively and fun vibe with friends ir family. 100% recommended.
