Pizza Hut (Heritage Town), Pondicherry Review:

I recently dined at Pizza Hut in Heritage Town, Pondicherry, and here's my experience:

Service:

The service team was friendly, but the waiting time was unexpectedly long. We waited nearly an hour for our orders to arrive. If ordering through Swiggy Dineout, it's advisable to check with the billing team whether the order has been transferred to the kitchen team, as there seemed to be a gap in communication.

Ambience:

We visited for dinner, and while the crowd was average, the ambience was pleasant. However, considering it's summer, maintaining a chill temperature in the restaurant would be appreciated, especially since some AC units were not working.

Hygiene:

The restroom was clean and maintained good hygiene standards.

Table Service:

Waters were not automatically provided on tables; they were served on request. Similarly, tables were cleaned only upon request.

Despite friendly service and decent food quality for most items, the long waiting time and some issues with temperature control and table service detracted from the overall experience. Improvements in these areas could enhance the dining experience at Pizza Hut in Heritage Town,...

Ambience: 2/5 Food is below average.

Had the following: Veggie supreme pizza (5/5)

Sprinkled fried (2/5) Asked for Classic fries, since we had a kid with us. They didnt have it on the menu, so we mentioned to provide classic fries with no seasoning, and it's for the kid. Had their approval, yet served with seasoned fries, disappointed. Serving size was 2/4th of the usual serving quantity. Yet taste was good and better, no issues with that.

Classic Mushroom pasta (1/5) Absolutely undercooked. Absolutely bland. Had it with seasoning, yet tasted poor. Food could have been handled better.

Lemon Mint Mojito (5/5) Usual virgin mojito. Good.

Magical Makhni Paneer Melts (1/5) Not palatable. Worstly fused and handled. Had a bite and could'nt consume it further. Had unmolten cheese blocks within it. Poorly handled dish.

They serviced with a extra Loaded Veggie BBQ melts, it was on the house. Tasted similarly worse than the other melts.

Service is very good, I would not confirm good food and better hygiene here, pizza, fries and soda is fine.

I went to pondicherry for a work with my 2 kids and on the way back they asked me pizza or waffle so we thought to visit pizza hut to have some pizza we went to pizza hut at 10.30 in the morning and they was cleaning and they said we will open at 11 I said ok and decided to to go have some waffle at belgium waffle in the same street even they was closed and they said they will open at 11 we said ok and walked for 30 minutes on the street to have atleast anyone thing in the hot 🥵 again we went to to pizza hut at 11.06 and they said they will open at 11.30 if you don't have any idea then why are you guys giving us fake time I was on a road for 30 minutes with my two kids of age 6 and 4 there is no commitment and we thought to go to gave waffle 🧇 😁 but same there they said we will open at 11.30 surely never going to...
