Wadeshwar, located on the bustling Ferguson Road, is a true gem for lovers of South Indian and Maharashtrian delicacies. From the moment you step into the restaurant, the warm and inviting ambience makes you feel at home. The interiors are tastefully done with a mix of modern and traditional elements, offering a clean and cozy environment that’s perfect for both casual dining and family get-togethers. Whether you’re stopping by for a quick snack or planning a leisurely meal, Wadeshwar provides an ideal setting.

The service at Wadeshwar is another highlight. The staff is courteous, attentive, and efficient, ensuring that your food arrives promptly and your dining experience is pleasant throughout. The team is well-informed about the menu and always ready to offer recommendations if you’re unsure what to try.

Now, coming to the menu—Wadeshwar boasts a wide variety of options that cater to both traditional and contemporary tastes. Their South Indian offerings are especially popular and stand out in both taste and presentation.

The set dosa, priced at ₹138, is soft, fluffy, and served with a generous dollop of butter. It’s a comforting dish that pairs wonderfully with the accompanying chutneys. If you’re in the mood for something more indulgent, the cheese chili dosa (₹176) is a must-try. It delivers the perfect blend of spicy and creamy flavors, making it a hit among both kids and adults.

One of the more unique items on the menu is the pessarattu ghee dosa (₹168). Made with green gram, it’s a healthy yet delicious option that comes with rassam and chutney. It has a distinct flavor profile and is ideal for those looking for something different from the usual fare. Similarly, the ghee ragi dosa (₹168) offers a nutritious twist, with a crispy texture and earthy taste enhanced by the richness of ghee.

For idli lovers, the molgapodi idli (₹154) and ghee idli (₹128) are top-notch. The molgapodi idli features mini idlis tossed in desi ghee and spicy gunpowder chutney—flavorful and comforting. The ghee idli, served dipped in sambar, melts in your mouth and is an excellent choice for breakfast or a light meal.

Wadeshwar also offers a range of interesting snacks and chaats. The rassam wada and aappe (both ₹106) are simple yet flavorful options, while the sweet corn pattice (₹124) and coconut kachori (₹128) provide a delightful crunch with unique fillings. The kothimbir wadi (₹112) brings a taste of Maharashtra to the table with its crisp texture and aromatic coriander flavor.

From 12:30 p.m. onwards, you can enjoy the aloo paratha with raita (₹176), which is hearty and satisfying. Later in the day, the filter water pani puri (₹178 for a basket of 20 puris) becomes a popular choice among snack enthusiasts. It’s fresh, hygienic, and bursting with tangy flavors.

Health-conscious diners will appreciate the sprouted moong salad chaat (₹156), which is light, crunchy, and well-seasoned. For those with a sweet tooth, Wadeshwar offers traditional desserts like moong daal halva (₹136) and pineapple sheera (₹98), both prepared with desi ghee and served warm. The walnut brownie (₹226) is a more contemporary offering—eggless and in-house prepared, served with vanilla ice cream and hot chocolate sauce. It’s a rich, decadent end to a fulfilling meal.

In conclusion, Wadeshwar on Ferguson Road successfully brings together quality, taste, and variety under one roof. Whether you’re a fan of classic South Indian fare or looking to try something new, there’s something here for everyone. The well-curated menu, inviting atmosphere, and attentive service make it a place you’ll want to return to. It’s not just a restaurant; it’s a delightful...

I recently visited Wadeshwar in FC road which is a delightful South Indian restaurant that exceeded my expectations. The menu offered a wide range of options, from authentic South Indian dishes to mouthwatering pav bhaji. From dosas and idlis to vadas and uttapams, there was something to suit every palate. Additionally, the restaurant surprised me with its unique addition of pav bhaji, which was a delightful departure from the usual South Indian fare. I couldn't resist trying their highly recommended cold coffee and masala tea, and they truly lived up to the hype. The cold coffee was perfectly balanced and refreshing, while the masala tea had just the right amount of spices to add a delightful kick. However, the real star of the show was the mini idlis with ghee. Served piping hot and soaked in flavorful ghee, they were a revelation. The softness of the idlis combined with the rich aroma of ghee was a match made in heaven, and I found myself savoring every bite. The restaurant's location also played a significant role in enhancing the overall experience. As it was during the rainy season, the restaurant offered a beautiful view of raindrops falling outside, making it an ideal spot to sit back, relax, and enjoy a scrumptious meal. The service was prompt and attentive, with the staff being knowledgeable about the menu and offering helpful suggestions. The experience was further enriched by the friendly and welcoming nature of the staff, which made me feel like a valued guest.

If you're looking for a place to enjoy authentic South Indian cuisine and indulge in some delicious surprises, this restaurant is a definite must-visit. Whether you're a food enthusiast or simply looking for a cozy spot during the rainy season, you'll find yourself thoroughly satisfied with this restaurant's...

I recently had the pleasure of dining at the South Indian Hotel, and I must say, it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. Nestled in a quaint corner of the city, this gem offers an authentic taste of South Indian cuisine that is both delightful and memorable.

From the moment we walked in, the warm and welcoming ambiance set the tone for what would be a fantastic meal. The décor, reminiscent of traditional South Indian culture, added a charming touch to the overall dining experience.

The menu is a delightful journey through South India, featuring a wide array of dishes that cater to both vegetarians and non-vegetarians. I started with the classic Masala Dosa, which was perfectly crispy on the outside and filled with a deliciously spiced potato mixture. The accompanying coconut chutney and sambar were flavorful and fresh, enhancing the dish's overall taste.

For the main course, I opted for the Chettinad Chicken, a fiery and aromatic curry that was perfectly balanced with spices. Paired with fluffy steamed rice and freshly made appams, it was a true culinary delight. My dining companion chose the Thali, a platter that offered a little bit of everything – from tangy rasam to creamy korma, it was a feast for the senses.

The service was impeccable, with attentive staff who were knowledgeable about the menu and eager to offer recommendations. The attention to detail and genuine hospitality made us feel right at home.

In conclusion, the South Indian Hotel is a must-visit for anyone craving authentic South Indian cuisine. With its delicious food, inviting atmosphere, and excellent service, it’s a dining experience that I...
