Hakuna Matata J.M Road — Restaurant in Pune

Not one of the greatest places on JM or FC road but a place surely not to miss out on! A great place with a lot of sitting area and isn't always crowded so the best part is you don't have to wait. Happy hours offers are amazing but they don't always have everything available from their menu. They didn't even had Budweiser or ultra available. Major downside. The upside is they serve TJ's brewed chillers in their special menu. Ambience is great and the warm lights and alot of planters just keeps the vibes good.

From the TJ menu we had TJ devil dark and it was very very greatt! It somewhat had a chocolaty after taste and its strong than other brewed beers. For the food, bbq pizza and nachos made their way to our table Great friends, beers, food, live sports screening! What else can make a great evening best? Pizza was really tasty, we asked them for extra cheese and thin crust and they did good. Nachos disappointed us. They didn't had that taste or how basic it should be in any other bar or bar snacks. Quantity was just fine but for the price it is acceptable.

Overall menu is light on your pocket. Their staff is never attentive and always need time to do a simple thing. We waited literally 10 15 min for water. They are polite and cooperative but I always had to ask them for a follow up on my order! They are doing great and they have everything and they can improve a lot. Hope to see it change in some aspects. Will visit...

I would definitely say "there are no troubles" when it comes to food and you are in the vicinity of JM road.

This place called Hakuna Matata is a really good addition to the long list of places to eat around JM road. Though it won't be an exaggeration to say that it is the only best pub-like trendy place on JM road where you'll have good food and drinks. The food quality is really good and offers a wide range of food.

Loved the African food festival, they had great options. The dessert is to die for!! The food is authentic and super tasty, foodies out there you are Missing the point of not going here! So just go and have a great time!!

The concept of customizing your own pasta was really interesting and we tried our luck and failed miserably, I would recommend you if you are not a master chef then please go with the set pasta. The set pasta menu is really tasty.

The pizza crust is really crunchy and nice. The cheese was really good quality and the hint of flavors were hitting my taste-buds thus making this pizza one of the best I had.

The ambiance is contemporary and surely will enlighten the mood for friends and family. The service was really good. I would recommend all you all if you want some good food with contemporary settings around in JM road area this is the place.

Great place with a calm and cozy ambience and good food. They have good liquor offers and if you have a dine out subscription like we do then you’ll get 25% off on the total bill. We ordered chicken pops which is the chefs special,cheese fondue and tandoori mushroom. Chicken pops were tasty and proved to be a good side dish. Cheese fondue was delicious and well presented and the quantity was also really good! Tandoori mushroom were a bit under but they compensated for that with the delicious marination that they were cooked in. I will definitely recommend everybody to go for their cheese fondue,just remind them to light the stove below the fondue pot as due to the winter it tends to get cold fast! The service is excellent,the waiters are eager to serve and have an extremely polite and cordial attitude! The bartender is also helpful and he requested us to try the barman’s special cocktail,we did and it was nothing short of fabulous. Do give it a try. The place is pet friendly hence has beautiful cats roaming around that tend to jump on your table when it remains unattended, we love cats so had no issues about it.
