Response to Green Signal response on my review I never said I was not welcomed. The table given to us was not special. It was right at the door of indoor seating. We were not given a good table. Mocktails were given to us because they were a part of Swiggy dineout deal which I purchased. So no need of taking credit for that. When the incident happened, one staff member came, he took the chair and changed it. Nobody apologised. We called the manager, then he came. Even though he was standing right in front of us. Please read the review properly. I appreciated the food. But I don't appreciate the furniture. As a restaurant,it is your responsibility to test your infrastructure not customers. You don't wait for an incident to happen to act on it. It is your responsibility to prevent those things to happen. Also, it was not a top class service. If you want I can elaborate on each and every step. It was not only chair arm broken, chair's leg was also broken and the person sitting on it fell down with it. If you think I am lying, feel free to circulate your CCTV footage since you provide top class service, you should have it. The person was lucky that he was not injured. I am not blaming everything. I already said food was good. Service was good. I said furniture is outdated. Feel free to replace and upgrade your furniture, or not, your restaurant your choice. My task was to make people aware of what has happened with us.

1st post Food was good but we had a very unpleasant experience because of the furniture they are using. Everything was good, mood was good, we were enjoying and all of a sudden the chair broke and my FIL fell on ground. It was very bad after that. They should really test their furniture. They are still using very old chairs which can break anytime. We had old people with us, it could have been a very serious accident. Funny thing is, after this happened manager doesn't even care to come and see what happened. That is where it all went bad. I won't recommend this place to people who have elderly people with them. Others who are young and can take the risk of...

I don't understand the unnecessary hype the city has created around this place. I visited this place on a Saturday evening. We had to wait for good 20 mins to get our table, which I'm okay with. We ordered a Tandoori Mushroom starter which was okay. Then we went for their overhyped "Shevga fry" which I don't know why it is placed in the starters section as you get some drumsticks fried and dipped in a typical Maharashtrian style Masala (Waa-tan as we call it), which tasted moderately good but was too dry and IMO, it shouldn't be placed in the Starters section. They could add some more gravy to it and rather put it in the Main course to be accompanied with Chapati/Bhakari. Everything was still okay till this point too. Things went wrong when we ordered their "Corn Pilaf". This was just barely cooked rice literally fried in oil with no masala, salt or any taste added to it. Even fried rice doesn't contain this amount of oil. I asked to the waiter to bring some tissues so that I could've placed a tissue on the rice to let it soak the excess oil but as we kept on adding the tissues, every tissue paper kept on soaking the oil. I was very disappointed by this and hence decided to call the captain to ask about it. To my surprise, without any apology for the amount of oil used, he said, "Pulao mein to oil hoga hi". I asked him to call the manager from whom too, I got the same answer. There wasn't any kind of apology or even slightest expression of customer service on his face too. He said I can cancel it and replace with plain rice.

I don't recommend this place if you're already used to an average food quality or to people who really want to take care of...

Visited here multiple times, will tell you reason why we went to this place despite deciding to go some other place. Will tell you the reason at the end😏. Good quality family lunch/dinner location. Nice ambience, well maintained green spacing. One memorable dessert I had was Sizzling Hot Brownie. Had ordered this twice, had a delightful experience but the second time the pineapple got slightly too roasted. For main course, if 'green signal special' bhaji is available in green gravy - it's must order. Didn't enjoy brown gravy as much as the green one, just order some paneer or mix veg varient over that. Momos are great, tho paneer kurkure momos was lil bland, veg momos are great. Tried the seasonal mango dessert --- wish that didn't had the yellow looking kassata like mango ice-cream, but it had real mango pieces- a saving grace... Achilles Heel of this restaurant is very less quantity of servings, nothing was served enough to fill your stomach, but taste was enough to fill your heart. I had ordered Italian once, not bad... Personal bias I don't like Italian food much. Speghetti was okish, eat it up when hot tho. White sauce and pink sauce pasta are bearable for me; had just one bite- can't really pass a judgement. Also I've tried Pav bajhi was 7/10, coz mom makes it the best right🙃. Ok so here is the reason for multiple visits: Visited here multiple times, coz my sister's can't eat satvik maharashtrian ahar, ykwim (check map)🌅, while my family has to bend to her will.... Also we like green...

Green Signal Veg on Apte Road, Pune, is a delightful destination for vegetarian food lovers. This restaurant stands out for its warm ambiance, courteous service, and a menu that offers a wide range of North Indian, South Indian, and Chinese dishes, making it a go-to spot for family outings, casual dining, and small celebrations. The food quality at Green Signal Veg is consistently good, with fresh ingredients and well-balanced flavors. The menu is extensive, offering something for everyone, from crispy dosas and flavorful pav bhaji to rich paneer gravies and comforting dal tadka. Their Chinese options, like Manchurian and noodles, also stand out, providing a nice variety. The portions are generous, making it great for sharing, and the pricing is reasonable for the quality offered. The restaurant's atmosphere is welcoming, with clean, well-maintained interiors and a comfortable seating arrangement that suits both small groups and families. The staff is polite and attentive, ensuring that orders are taken promptly and food is served without long waits, even during busy hours. While Green Signal Veg excels in many aspects, parking can be a bit of a hassle due to its central location on Apte Road. Additionally, some dishes could benefit from a touch more seasoning to elevate the flavors. Overall, Green Signal Veg is a solid choice for a satisfying vegetarian meal in Pune, earning it a well-deserved 4-star rating.

From South Indian and Maharashtrian classics to North Indian delicacies, Chinese specialties, and even Italian dishes, the restaurant caters to diverse tastes. For beverage lovers, their milkshakes and mocktails are worth trying. We ordered the strawberry milkshake and the guava spice mocktail, both of which were refreshing and flavorful. The food, overall, was flavorful and well-prepared, showcasing the quality and attention to detail in every dish. Despite its location on the bustling Apte Road, which may pose parking challenges, the restaurant’s overall vibe and food quality make it a worthwhile visit.
