THE TASTE WITH SPICY TWIST — Restaurant in Pune

Place was crowded on our visit. People seemed to enjoy their food. It was rated well on Google Maps too. BUT BUT BUT my personal experience was quite on the contrary. Services were quick. Staff were good, friendly. Smooth transactions. Table not too clean but fine. All well except the food. Firstly, for vegetarians they didn't have a lot of option. Secondly, whatever was offered was too spicy and oily leading to an unhappy stomach soon after. Their oil had a different smell as if old and rotten. What I ate was the unhealthiest I had eaten in the longest time. WORST OF ALL IT WAS EXPENSIVE. Absolutely not worth the money paid.

Aesthetic, vibes was of a dhaba. We ordered-

LEMON PANEER Initially it tasted nice. Very rich flavours but by the end of one chapati, the taste, the oil, the essence, the scent was too much to handle. It was just too spicy and oil. It was like a lot of indian flavours were vomitted on the paneer with a dash of lemon.

MALABAR PARANTHA A chapati made of maida and cheap oil. Wasn't even soft. I couldn't dare have a second bite.

PLAIN PARANTHA Again very hard it fell on the mouth, not easy to bite, a certain greasy smell and taste to it like rest of the food had.

SHAHI BUTTER MILK A unique concept and some good taste. I liked it. In a normal masala chaach they added coal smoke. It was smokey and nice. Could have brought my grandfather to try.

In short, not returning to that place. Just thinking about it churns...

Highly underrated food place in Pune!!

So this is our go to restaurant every weekend whenever we carve for non veg food this is the first and only place we thought of !!

What’s good Food Dedication of owner to make and serve best possible food 3 some of their signature dish like 5 spice pepper chicken for spicy lovers, golden omelette, chicken makarna, chicken golden special, chicken chilly, chicken roasted and many more!! Variety of options for veggies The most important uniqueness in every dishes I bet you will not find tastes at other places !!

What’s not good Some of their dishes is not upto the mark like rosh omelette, biryani and few chicken dishes like chicken changazi and few more Need to do some improvement on seating Recommendation of quantity.. yes they do need to improve their recommendation based on quantity!!

Overall this place is our family’s favourite in Pune people who come from other places often request us to taken them to this place for good food and satisfying pallet !! what else...

I recently visited The Taste with Spicy Twist Hotel, and I had a wonderful dining experience. The Veg Thali was absolutely delicious, and I particularly enjoyed the Paneer Butter Masala. It was rich, flavorful, and perfectly spiced, making the entire meal incredibly satisfying.

The combination of flavors and the quality of ingredients used in the dishes truly stood out. The portion sizes were generous, and everything was served fresh and hot.

If you're a fan of tasty vegetarian dishes with a little extra spice, I highly recommend trying their Veg Thali. It’s definitely worth the visit!
