Hotel Victoria International — Hotel in Punjab

Visited this hotel with my family during my deluxe package tour. The hotel manager was very rude in talking with us and other customers. Doesn't know the meaning of politeness. He was trying to fool us and later also was trying to show as if we were wrong about what was discussed and agreed. This guy doesn't deserve to be a manager of any hotel. ||||Suffered a lot throughout the night with smell of cigarettes coming from nearby rooms despite having an AC room. Not sure how these people allow smoking inside the rooms with AC on. ||||They don't have proper dining room as well. Rather they just put some tables and chairs in a room just like ours and called it the dining room. ||||Only thing I liked about this hotel is the taste of food. ||||Having said this, Overall a very bad experience in this hotel. Would strongly urge family people at the very least NOT to go for this hotel. This hotel is not for decent people is all I can say. This has to be the worst hotel I have ever stayed. I wish I could give negative rating here. The images shown in oyo app are too old & the location is difficult to find in a narrow lane. There is no parking available. There is no concept of room service they just handover the keys & forget everything else. Receptionist Harbindar & Prince promises something else & does not deliver it at all. They have having drinks during night time & morning didn't even wake up despite calling them several times. Hot water is not available in 90% of the rooms. Only one person Raju runs after everything to provide the basic necessities. For everything you have remind the staff many times to get the basic things done. Forget comfort it will only add stress to your stay. I would not even recommend this hotel to my enemy. HiI stayed in this hotel from 22nd-23rd Oct in super deluxe rooms. The rooms were good and service was also good. The dining room was not very good as it was very congested and there was no variety in breakfast but the same paratha and curd which we didn't like.You will have to be more careful if you were booking any vehicle for sightseeing for Amritsar,Delhi and other places thru this hotel as we faced lot of problem as the drivers of the vehicle booked thru this hotel has lot of attitude problems so not to recommend booking of any vehicle thru this hotel for sightseeing.
