Hotel Ambavgarh Palace - Heritage Budget Stay & Lake View Restaurant — Hotel in Rajasthan

Choosing this Udaipur hotel was a spontaneous decision on the second day of my trip, fueled by its appealing location near the lake and reasonable pricing. Upon checking in, the room exceeded expectations with its spacious layout, featuring a large and comfortable bed, and the added convenience of a TV. However, the true gem of the accommodation was the expansive lobby area. Bathed in a cozy ambiance, it provided a serene retreat where I could lose myself in a good book, relish quick bites, and let music fill the air—all while enjoying a picturesque view of the surroundings.

The hotel staff, particularly Kishan at the front office, contributed significantly to the positive experience. Kishan's friendly and helpful demeanor made interactions pleasant. Encouraged by the welcoming atmosphere, I decided to explore the city on a scooty, rented directly from Kishan. This added a spontaneous element to my trip, allowing me to navigate the city with ease and flexibility.

However, the unforeseen became a part of the narrative when a sudden rain shower surprised me in the night. Forced to park the scooty at a secure location, the unplanned overnight stay led to an unexpected rental cost. While the inconvenience was notable, Kishan's understanding and assistance in navigating the situation softened the impact.

Unfortunately, the culinary aspect of my stay didn't match the overall positive experience. The dinner I ordered fell short of expectations, with flavors that failed to resonate, prompting me to cut the dining experience short.

In reflection, my stay at the hotel offered a mix of highs and lows—comfortable lodgings, a friendly and helpful staff, and an adventurous scooty exploration tinged with an unexpected expense and a less-than-satisfactory dining episode. Hello Everyone, Me, my wife and my 3 year old son spent 3 days in Udaipur and boy it was a memorable one.||||First of all the location of Ambavgarh Palace is perfect. Our whole and sole planner for the 3 days was Mr. Shakti Singh Chauhan who perfectly planned the 3 days and made it so easy for us the visit all the places in and around Udaipur.||||There are slight improvements required to offer variety of cuisines but whatever we ordered was delicious. However since I had my son Shlok with me who was given extra care in his preparation for food suitable for him.||||On the second day I had an accident and twisted my leg and the Mr. Shakti was so kind enough to make quick arrangements for soaking it in salt water tonic for a quick relief as well as immediately send the staff for required painkillers and medications prescribed my my doctor.||||I appreciate this gesture and would surely recommend to stay at this place.||||I hope this review...

We booked two Super Deluxe Rooms to have comfortable stay, it had basic amenities.

The shower was choked and was mended when we informed the hotel staff.

However, One room had problems of insects coming during night and hot water tap was not working in that room.

Management of hotel needs improvement as they were unable to manage disturbance caused by the restaurant guests standing at the main gate of hotel (one room was near the main gate) during late night on Saturday which disturbed my friend's sleep and he was not able to sleep for whole night.
