Hotel Sri Balaji — Hotel in Uttar Pradesh

So initially i had given one rating because i had reached at 4 am but ixigo had written early check in and the night staff was very rude ,however my booking did not get cancelled and i stayed and I am glad I did,I wish you never encounter the night staff uncle

The day staff was so good so good , the hospitality the kindness and the way they guide you with everything around as a solo female traveller i actually felt really safe and well guided here.

I did not try the food here because i wanted to explore the outside food and places.

I had booked for one day and just left my bag at reception the other day , still they were so sweet.

I had the opportunity to meet the owner and honestly i did not realize he was the owner but when i was sharing my experience he was so quick and taking a action and informed to change in the app.

The place is clean the water and cleanliness is top notch.

Each and every employee except the night uncle is very kind and polite .

The hotel closes at 10 so you can order before hand and keep and get it delivered later.

We travelled to Banaras (Varanasi) in March 2024 along with 2 sets of parents. We stayed for 3 nights in this hotel, hotel rooms are excellent and extremely clean. Its location is a bit difficult to reach by car so you can call the hotel while arriving and they send their people to collect luggage etc. and guide you to the place. The landmark is gol ghar Saree Market. |The location is very central, Bhairavnath Mandir is just 2 mins walk and Kashi Vishwanath temple is 10 mins walking distance from the hotel. Hotel staff is very good and even the hotel food is excellent. Owner also is good person and available during the day at the reception. |Just outside the hotel there is a chai wala - you have to taste his chai - best chai in the world. Also you would find in few minutes walk (around gol ghar) kachodi wala, jalebi wala and litti/ baati bhaji wala - all those are not to be missed. Location wise the hotel is very close to many temples hotel is inside the small streets of market car won't be going there you must carry your luggage by a auto. Rooms are meat and clean. Service is good but the worst part I had to suffer is restaurant. The hotel has a roof top restaurant food is quite ok type but worst part is they have only 2 people who cook food in kitchen and the time taken to surve food is minimum 30 to 45min. We had to wait for 1 & half hrs yet then food was not ready as the restaurant tables were full. We had a fight with the hotel staff as kids had to starve from hunger. The person who takes orders has the worst dirty atitude. We checked out from hotel the staff damaged my suitcase while bring it to main road dragging all along the street.
