I am rating this place as high as I can, mainly thanks to the excellent customer service provided by Yogi (and his colleague) . We stayed here for several nights, and Yogi was able to look after our every need, transport from and to the airport, a tour guide of Varanasi, and an evening boat ride on the Ganges to see the Aarti celebrations. Nothing was too much for him, he looked after my daughter when she had sinus problems and felt a bit ill, even gave her rehydration salts and a head massage to help. He was really passionate, hence the top marks review. We chose the best room in the place, a big room with two beds and ensuite facilities. The floors were clean, supplies were provided, and the padlock on the doors and the staffing of the hotel made us feel safe throughout. We chose this place in the centre of the old town, because we wanted to be in the centre of the old town and experience hard-core India. It did not disappoint. Please do your homework to decide if this place is right for you. It’s on narrow streets, which tuk-tuks cannot reach, so you’ll be walking the last stretch to the hotel. Also, there is no lift, so if you struggle with walking, this place is not for you. It is a low cost, cheap and cheerful but excellently located base if you want to be in the heart of the old city near to the temples and ghats. Very extensive...
