Due to construction in front of Hotel, approach is restricted for 4Ws. Hotel does not have a parking or any arrangement for the same. There are no lifts in hotel. The iconic Laxman Jhula is closed & even no lights are put on during night hours, so no advantage staying in the Hotel for proximity to Laxman Jhula or Ganga view. However, construction & piling work was going on next to Laxman Jhula on the opposite bank of Ganges which continued non-stop throughout the night and we could not sleep peacefully. We did not have lunch in the hotel as we reached the hotel late at 3:30 p,m. After watching Ganga-aarti when we returned to the hotel we saw live music being performed at the restaurant and foreign tourists having food at their leisure. To save time, we though we would place the food order and freshen up in the meanwhile. The menu placed in the room had limited items. Hotel advised that the restaurant is full and dinner will be served at room. We agreed and ordered Paneer tikka masala, dal tadka, roti and steamed rice. All these are very common dishes in this part of the country. The service was prompt, we were hungry, tired and immediately proceed to have food. However on first bite itself, the Paneer dish tasted stale to all of the family members. We conveyed this to the restaurant and told them to take the dish back. After 5 mins the restaurant conveyed that they have checked the dish and that they would not charge us for the dish. So we checked if they have any fresh vegetables, they replied only watermelon is available (very strange reply). So we requested for 1 additional dal to finish our roti & rice. After 10 mins when we enquired, restaurant said it is yet not ready, would take 10 more minutes and enquired if we wanted to cancel our order. We requested that we (including a child) are midway into our meal so please provide the dal so that we finish our dinner. In some time the dal was served which unlike the previously ordered dal was sprinkled with coriander leaves along with lots of finely chopped hot green chilies (could not understand why??). We some how finished our food and retired to bed only to be awake throughout the night due to the construction noise. The water in the bathroom was not clear and was a little yellowish/murky. On operating the flush of western toilet, the water was splattering out. Though square fountain shower head with hot water facility was provided but almost all the pores of the fountain head were blocked, very difficult to bath. With our previous night food experience we avoided the breakfast and checked out. During checkout we also conveyed our experience to the Manager at the counter. Thankfully booking was only for 1 night (14th Oct 22) Avoid the hotel if you want to have a good memories of Rishikesh !! Location/approach/parking - 1/5 Food - 0/5 Room - 2/5 Bathroom -...

Worst stay! Pathetic cleaniness, room full of Dust, Cockroaches all around, Indisplined hotel staff & cleaners.

We have faced one of our worst stay at Hotel Ishan. First the room alloted ( Room with ganga view) was not at all matching with pics memtioned in booking. Upon questioning the Hotel staff initially addressed saying our room was sold out and hence as alternate option they have given another one room which not at all matched our booked one. Upon escalating, the Hotel manager started talking rudely that the pics always differ and we should only be accepting what has been alloted, and if not we may vaccate the property after which they will look into refund. However given I was travelling with family inclunding a 1 year old , ot wasent feasible for us to vaccate and find an alternate Hotel at that time, hence on no option basis we decided to continue accepting the room as alloated

However the room was not at all clean inspite of taking charge by 4 pm. Dust all around, smelly toilet, broken toilet seat, insects & cockroaches on the floor. After reminding 2-3 times after an hour the service staff came and did little work which was still not upto the mark. Honetly the Room was not having any basic hygiene standards to stay decently ( REFER TO PHOTOS ATTACHED AS PROOF).

Service staff was rude and manupulative ( Manoj - who tried to sale us rental bikes at higher prices as compared to standards around the market and was very nosey in servicing us as a whole) . Exception was with service staff - Ramesh & Anand who guided us genuinly and honestly.

Good parts - View of ganga river from windows ( although no balcony as shown in pictures), common space with seating, close proximity to all shops & nearby reataurants.

Overall Worst stay & Not value for money given the stay was priced at room rent Rs 7K+ per night (...

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Hotel Ishan by Salvus during my visit to Rishikesh, and the experience was nothing short of exceptional.

The hotel's prime location, coupled with its serene ambiance, truly makes it the best accommodation choice in Rishikesh. The tranquility of the surroundings, along with the picturesque views, offered a perfect retreat from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.

The Archies Cafe, located within the premises, proved to be a delightful culinary experience. The diverse menu showcased a fusion of flavors, and the quality of the food surpassed my expectations. It's undoubtedly one of the go-to places for a satisfying meal in the area.

I must commend the spa services at Hotel Ishan. The holistic approach adopted by the spa team created an environment of relaxation and rejuvenation. The treatments were not only therapeutic but also tailored to provide a truly immersive and soothing experience.

What truly sets Hotel Ishan apart is the professionalism exhibited by the staff. From check-in to check-out, every interaction was characterized by warm hospitality and a genuine commitment to ensuring a comfortable stay. The staff's behavior was not only courteous but also reflected a deep understanding of hospitality, making my time at the hotel exceptionally enjoyable.

In conclusion, Hotel Ishan by Salvus exceeded my expectations on every front. I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone seeking a refined and relaxing stay in Rishikesh. The combination of breathtaking views, delectable cuisine at Archies Cafe, and the outstanding spa services make it a standout choice for a...

My stay at the Ganga Riverside Hotel was an unforgettable experience. From the moment I arrived, I was captivated by the serene beauty of the Ganges River and the warm hospitality of the staff. The location of the hotel is its most outstanding feature. Situated right on the banks of the Ganges, it offers breathtaking views that soothe the soul. Waking up to the gentle sound of the river and watching the sunrise over the sacred waters is a memory I'll cherish forever. The rooms were comfortable and well-appointed, with all the amenities one could ask for. The attention to detail was evident in the tasteful decor and cleanliness. The hotel's restaurant was a culinary delight. The menu featured a wide array of dishes, both local and international, prepared with fresh ingredients. Dining by the river while enjoying traditional Indian cuisine was a truly authentic experience. The staff at the Ganga Riverside Hotel went above and beyond to ensure a pleasant stay. They were courteous, accommodating, and always ready to assist with any requests. The peaceful ambiance of the hotel, combined with its proximity to key attractions and the spiritual significance of the Ganges, makes it an ideal choice for both leisure and spiritual travelers. In conclusion, the Ganga Riverside Hotel is a gem that offers a perfect blend of luxury, natural beauty, and cultural immersion. It's an oasis of tranquility in the bustling city, and I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone seeking a memorable stay in this sacred and beautiful part of India.
