Hotel Rose Garden — Hotel in West Bengal

I stayed in this hotel's double bedroom for some days during my trip to Darjeeling this year. I would recommend not to choose this hotel unless you do not have any other option to stay.

The Cons :

Rooms are severely dirty, small, damp and smelly (due to the soggy damp).

The washroom is untidy. The roof of the washroom is broken and hanging in a dangerous way which can cause severe accidents at any moment. I complained the same and they mentioned that " Yes we know it. We will fix it later ". The commode was loose and disconnected from the ground and moved with water oozing out at every flush. Washroom window is broken and people from outside can see through.

Rooms are situated two floors below from the road level in the basement. You need to crawl down the stairs by two floors of you book this hotel.

Room is infected with small insects and bugs. No pest control done. The dirty room environment is the reason for insect infection.

Bedsheets, blankets and pillow covers are too dirty with dust. Got a burnt blanket and asked for a separate bedsheet still got a dirty one.

The only positive point is that the hotel is 4 min walking from mall and has a common balcony with good view of mountains (Not Kanchanjunga view).

Overall, DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL IF YOU HAVE OTHER OPTIONS TO STAY IN DARJEELING EVEN IF IT IS FAR AWAY...

Very good behaviour of the hotel staff.. Special the hotel manager #Sharukh Ahmad very polite and friendly nature.. he helped us alot. There fooding was very good . Jst love the food. All the staff good in nature and talk very politely. Must go for it. And they provide cabs for side tour of Darjeeling. All the 3 days trip. They provide amazing car driver. I jst love it. One more suggestion never go Darjeeling through the traveler's .. they are worst.. book directly here ... I must say. Once visit to Darjeeling. Book hotel rose garden directly. Thanku sharukh ji. A budget friendly and best hotel for families. Just a few seconds from the darjeeling mall, the food is too delicious and the time of yours is maintained. You can complete your Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner with a beautiful view. Hotel staff behaviour is too good including the owner of the hotel. The location of the hotel is fantastic near the residence of the Superintendent of Police, Darjeeling. All over the Hotel Rose Garden...
