Visited as it is shown to be a nice quiet place. But a Massive construction is going on hence lots of noise And dust everywhere will probably stay like that for another 6 months. There was Cigerrete smoke everywhere as people were freely smoking everywhere. Seems like a hangout of late school going kids and early college students who just want to smoke and drink. We asked if there was a non smoking section and were kindly informed that customers just didnt care about the tiny No Smoking sign (Size of a visiting card) placed on a wall. As the place didn't have many items on the menu the server was kind enough to ask us to try the Sushi but we didn't. We had coffee and the Affogato was nice but Mocha was drab and almost felt like drinking hersheys syrup. Maybe at one time it was a grand place because the decors were artful and almost had a bougee vibe but now even the sunroof was downright dirty but the Downside was that repairs were happening even inside the restaurant qhere people were eating hence low ratings.

The Patio, Darjeeling – A Must-Visit Restaurant & Bar Nestled on Zakir Hussain Road, The Patio is a hidden gem in Darjeeling, offering delicious food, a cozy ambience, and exceptional service. Their multi-cuisine menu features mouthwatering Indian, Chinese, and Continental dishes, with must-tries like wood-fired pizzas, succulent kebabs, and sizzling momos. The charming indoor and outdoor seating provides a relaxing atmosphere with stunning views, making it perfect for romantic dinners, family meals, and friendly get-togethers. As one of the best bars in Darjeeling, The Patio serves an impressive range of cocktails, premium whiskeys, craft beers, and mocktails. Not very far from the mall's chaurasta, short walk, not the glam side of the mall. Its just about bigger than what can be described as a hole in the wall, it's got a lot of character & possibly a vibe (when we went in the evening it was practically empty) The menu was extensive, largely Asian we ordered quite a few dishes overall pretty good until we encountered a very lousy preparation of one of the chicken mains and the attitude of the management on that was strangley evasive and frankly off putting

I visited the restaurant with eager anticipation of savoring some kimbap, which I get to know served best here by one of the reviews itself, but my dinning experience was marred by the unavailability of this Korean delicacy. Despite this setback, the ambience was pleasant.

Though the staffs were polite and apologetic, it still left me feeling unsatisfied. One of a staffs offered me with some lime juice immediately after I encountered with an unfortunate allergic reaction to one of the shrimp dishes( I have allergy on shrimp consumption usually, but couldn't resist myself to try that seemingly appetizing dish) .

I will consider giving this place an another try, hoping that the next visit will include the delightful kimbap I had...
