If one is intended on fine food rather to brand, then a local hotel is available just in 100m. Master would make what ever you want. (Ex. ghee dosa roast which will be as light as paper, I enjoyed it well with tasty yummy chutneys). Price also reasonable.

For the VISA aspirants, embassy is just 1Km to the line where one has to wait for approval time slot (in map you'll see more than 1.2Km which is till main gate), if you can walk, you may, else n no. of autos are available.

Worst place. Don’t choose especially if you are looking for stay near US Consulate. The rooms are too worst with no ventilation at all. Full of misquotes, the rooms smell too bad, the rooms are so suffocating no air/ventilation at all. Need to request multiple times for any service. They charge you like anything. They charged around 2500 per day which is no way worth even paying 1000. For extra 2 hours they charge extra 1000/-. And charge you for bottle Rs. 20/bottle. Please never get into this hell. Your entire peace of mind will be spoiled staying here no doubt in that. Never book this hotel there are many best...

I am a frequent traveller to Chennai and I have stayed at various properties. The issue I often faced at many places was unprofessional staff who don't respect the privacy of the guest, especially when visitors come. However, Sea Queen was a perfect host. A special shout to Mr. Abdul who was very courteous, professional and absolutely accommodative. I had friends visiting me and none of them were troubled.
