LMU RESTO BAR — Restaurant in Tamil Nadu

I came from Colombo to Chennai for a short stay, and visited this pub twice on Friday and Sunday . Nice pub with sports atmosphere. Entrance they do a security registration need to produce identity and contact info before entering. I had beer and prices for 330ml was around INR 300 which is fair for me as its fully AC, seating is very comfy, outside they have smoking area, and they played music DJ and mainly commercial songs (English, Hindi and less Tamil, even my preference was Tamil songs though), Food wise had only chicken and fries both tasted good, good portion. on Sunday they had 50% off on drinks and food, upon showing the discount post in insta they gave discount to me on my total bill. Overall nice place with less crowd during my visit. Staffs are very supportive. I travelled solo and enjoyed drinks and food here. Definitely I will visit again next time when I am in Chennai.

P.S - access to this place is bit tough from Anna salai as the metro...

We booked a table under the name Amrutha on October 26th because Swiggy advertised a 40% discount on food. To confirm, we called the restaurant, and they verified the offer. Additionally, we chose this spot for the El Clasico screening. However, upon arrival, the waiter informed us there was no discount, and we had to pay a non-refundable entry fee of 500, which we reluctantly accepted to watch the game.

The screening turned chaotic when the restaurant couldn’t access the live stream, leaving 200 people waiting. We stepped in and arranged a stream through a friend in Malaysia, yet the staff didn’t even offer a thank you. The service was a nightmare , the food was cold and bad , and they refused to replace dishes that were cold.

Would never recommend this place! Not worth a penny.

My wife took me to this place yesterday for my birthday, and these people made my birthday even more special. Guys, if you are sports fans, just visit them; they are one of the proper sports-themed restobars in Chennai and also the best restobar in the city.

Their ambiance is on another level with TVs and projectors to watch any sports. Also, they're new, so you could enjoy the full stadium experience. They serve imported beverages and great food. When I say great food, they have different kinds of dishes, especially their Vodka beef 😍, like top restaurants in Chennai.

They also do surprises on request. Also, Special thanks to their manager Surendran for his hospitality. They way he explained about all the foods because they serve different kind of dishes like new one. Even his team did a great customer service.
