Read moreThis my first visit to Sathyam Cinemas. Right now, it is managed by PVR Ltd. Still, people call it Sathyam and will be forever.
Parking - Sathyam has a huge parking space at the rear side of it. Parking cost will be Rs.10 for all the Two wheelers and you can spend more time within the multiplex and even outside. People don't care about that. This is the only multiplex which is offering parking at the lowest cost. Hope PVR Management don't change that in future.
Screens - There are totally six screens available in this premises. Sathyam is the biggest screen in this multiplex and one of the biggest screens in Chennai. Santham is the second biggest screen in the venue and it has a narrow seat arangement. Seasons and Serene shares the same seating arrangement and screens are in the normal size. Studio-5 and Six degrees are the smallest audis in the premises. Sathyam and Seasons are equipped with Dolby ATMOS sound feature.
Experience inside the auditorium - Visited both Sathyam and Seasons. Auditorium is clean and neat. But the seats are not good, you can more wear and tear on the seats. Also, seat numbers are not available in the Seasons screen. People had to ask the co-audiences for the numbers and because of that people are disturbing the theatrical experience. Atmosphere inside the theatre is very good and air conditioning inside the auditorium is also good. Movies starts on-time unlike other PVRs. Food and beverages orders are taken inside the screen also, so no need to visit the counter.
Other amenities - Only 2 screens are at the ground floor. So, the F&B counters are easily accessible and reduced queues can be seen. Restrooms are clean and neat. Ticket counter is situated separately at the left end of the theatre. Each screens are located at the different floors. No need to rush at the same floor. Lift facilities are available. Ticket prices are less for the movies after 2nd week.
Cons - F&B costs are still high. And apart from this nothing else to hate this multiplex. Love for this multiplex...
Read moreIf you're looking for the ultimate movie experience in Chennai, Satyam Cinemas is the place to be! From the moment you step inside, it’s clear that this isn’t just any cinema—it's a premium cinematic experience. The atmosphere is sleek, modern, and welcoming, with staff that go above and beyond to make you feel like a VIP.
The theaters themselves are nothing short of fantastic. The seating is incredibly plush, with ample legroom, ensuring you’re comfortable even during those long, action-packed movies. The screen quality is crystal clear, and the visuals are so vibrant it feels like you’re right there in the middle of the action. The sound system is immersive—every explosion, every whisper, every note of the soundtrack is perfectly amplified, making every film a visual and auditory treat.
And then there’s the popcorn. Honestly, it’s to die for! Fresh, buttery, and perfectly salted, it’s the kind of popcorn that makes you crave it even when you’re not at the movies. It’s that good—crispy, light, and oh-so-delicious. I don’t even need a movie as an excuse to enjoy it!
What also sets Satyam apart is the attention to detail in customer service. The staff is always courteous and attentive, ensuring that your movie-going experience is seamless from start to finish. The cleanliness and maintenance of the facilities are top-tier—you’ll never find a stray popcorn kernel or a sticky floor here!
The snack options are diverse and delicious, with something for every craving, from classic treats to indulgent options. And while the ticket prices are a little on the higher side, the overall experience—comfort, quality, service, and those heavenly popcorn moments—is totally worth it.
Whether you're catching the latest blockbuster or enjoying a cozy weekend movie, Satyam Cinemas is an absolute winner. I keep coming back, and every time, it feels like a special occasion. Highly recommend—it’s simply the best place to watch a...
