SeaShell Residency — Hotel in Zone 9 Teynampet

I booked this hotel for my eldery parents age above 65 years for 3 nights from 26th Dec to 29 Dec 14 through travelguru website wherein the hotel charges were decent. As they were travelling for a wedding in chennai, i confirmed my booking with the Hotel staff of Sea Shell residency and they acknowledged the same. Because of the flight jet flight delay, my parents reached on 27th early morning at 12.30 to chennai airport where they took a prepaid cab and reached the Hotel Sea Shell at 2.00 am. To my parents surprise the Hotel executive -Mr. Shaikh refused to accept the hotel booking and hurled abuse on them saying that "this not the time to check in at this hotel and i refuse to accept your booking, go wherever you want to go, i wont allow you to stay at this hotel etc" The hotel fellow also abused the Cab driver and said to take this people away from Hotel sunshine as there is no booking for them" Since it was 2am in night and they had not enough knowledge of the Kilpauk area, My parents stood strong at the hotel gate and after 30 mins managed to get in the Hotel wherein the executive again misbehaved with my parents and threw my Father's Identity card on the floor. My parents were very disturbed with this behaviour from the Hotel management staff. Finally were parents never got accomodation in Hotel Sea Shell and they forced to shift in some hotel nearby. This is the worst experience i ever had with any Hotel staff and misbehaved with the elderly people. I raised this issue with TRAVEL GURU but there was no response from their end.

This hotel should be blacklisted and wont recommend anyone to book accomodation...

It is a nice place to have food ...The food served was much delicious too ..the great thing over there is food was served along with kind and good hospitality.the people who are at the serving department served their best to make our food best over there.their service was remarkable and wonderful to have food along with family and friends .The response time for serve was much quick which made them look unique ,also the serve time was earlier the food was served hot and spicy .the food tasted yummy and that's the reason for us all to fill our tummy.The one major notisment is the hygienic of the place.it was good to see the clean and green environment that has been maintained by the restaurant management. The hotel provide a best passtime moments with their delicious menu of foods... In additive the with reference of its name it doesn't ment they provide only sea foods the hotel also provide other varieties of non vegetarian foods too inorder to satisfy the needs of their customers with happiness. Hotel or restaurant is not only the place we can have food it is the place where the love is served in the means of food . The food provided here are served with smilee and happiness on the face of server which make a positive vibes and thoughts on our Mind and make us to have more food to spend some more time in the restaurant.the restaurant offers a pretty worthy cost for food value.. #hotel_spec...

Only positive point is location of Hotel. Taken Suit room for 2 with cost Rs 3080/-, after seeing online snaps & review as a 2star Hotel Complementary Breakfast: Only sandwich is available. Can't take if you stay for long.. Hot Water : Only 7am - 11am, not 24hrs.. Room Service : Bed sheet/ pillow cover/ towel not changed everyday !!!!! There is paid services for laundry (charge rate for Bed sheet/ pillow cover/ blanket is there...🤯 ) .... WTF. . You will get only one 500ml water bottle as a welcome gift instead of daily (which is common in any standard hotel) Quality: Room is not maintained at all. At my suit room there are only 4 charging points (1- for fridge, 1- water heater, 1- faulty, 1- unable).. again WTF... in every night my challenge was what to charge (3 mobile, 2 battery charger, 1 battery bank, 1 Bluetooth handsfree) 🤔 There is only 1 parking space for full hotel...
