Manuka by Havis — Hotel in Batam City

I make my booking at Agoda for 3D2N.We booked Executive Loft with slide.It cost us about SGD334.It can accomodate maximum 6pax.Consist of 2 bedroom,living room ,2 bathroom and a balcony.One room consist of king bed .The other room consist of 1 king and a single bed.Living room have sofabed.There's shower and bathtub too.All bedroom is at the loft.For first time choosing the hotel,we don't know where exactly the place is,the taxi driver also not quite sure where the place is,we keep looking left and right for the hotel name,till lastly we spot a signboard at the end of the building stated Manuka by Havis.Their lobby is quite small.I don't know if I can say it a hotel though,because they don't have breakfast,no spa no nothing,coz their place is surrounded with spa's and eatery, you can juz come down and have ur breakfast,lunch or dinner within the area.BCS and Grand batam mall is juz walking distant.And the famous itsumo cafe is juz behind the hotel.There's korean restaurant/coffeshop that are halal juz behind the hotel too.Their staff is friendly and helpful .The price actually too pricey,but overall I love my stay here.I enjoy playing the slide,hahaha.Me and my family really have a great stay.Thank you.||PROS:|the area is spacious.|have s small kitchenette, u can cook there.|but no utensils though.|they have pots and pans.|incld fork and spoon|have microwave|plates,cups..|Fridge||CONS:|u have to go down to use the bathroom as the bedroom is on top.|balcony light is too dim for the night and there's no kind of shelter if we like to sit outside on a sunny day.|charging phone is like a disaster for me because it didn't charge even we charged our phone for the whole day,it is really frustrating.we have to change our charging place here and there to make it work,really annoying if u can't charge ur phone though.do something boss.Thank u|FYI please bring your universal plug.Most of their power socket is the EU kind of socket.using...

Took the suite room with the Slide for the 5 of us. Was amazed by the cleanliness & Air con ~ ❤️ The suite room is at the 5th floor. Outside is the place with their 2 rabbits so it’s kinda smelly but luckily the rooms didn’t had the smell. The rabbits looks very poorly maintained. Felt pity for them.

The Slide in the room definitely looks higher than the hotel’s photos. We had fun but I was so scare cause it’s quite steep. The first friend who tried sliding literally flew off lol. All adults but no regrets booking this room 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

Our suite room is 2 storey. Beds are all on 2nd level. 1 Queen & single bed at the slide side for 3 person. Room is opened concept but with a blackout curtain to cover. The other side is 1 king bed with glass covered room.

Below each bedrooms are showers & toilet & sinks. One shower has a bathtub. Toothbrushes & shampoo shower gel are provided. One complain is the hair dryer wind is too weak..

There’s kitchen appliances & utensils available. There’s a balcony but we didn’t go out since it’s really hot.. TV is really wide & sofa is for 2 so we sat at the dining table most of the time. Loves how the tv can be connected to YT. Reminder to log out your account as the last person who stayed didn’t log out her YT account.

We ordered grab food at night & we communicate with the receptionist through WhatsApp. He informed us & we went down to collect.

There’s a good cafe restaurant Gazoz next to the hotel & the popular dessert place Itsumo is right behind too. Walkable distance to lotsa massage places. Really enjoyed the stay at...

Have personal issues with the fragrance smell at 1st night of the room assigned to us but the hotel got it promptly changed to another room the second night. 5 adults, 2 kids and a baby stayed in the 2 bedroom suite and it’s sufficient. Just the bunk bed is quite high to climb up even for an adult and definitely not recommend for kids to stay up. Overall clean and minimalist kind of hotel and super convenient to BCS mall via Pintu(Door) 3 entrance and surrounding have good food and cafe and INDOMARET for snacks and mineral water for purchasing. Hotel provided slippers and toothbrush and tooth paste and plugs are multi national eg UK, US, Europe plugs are accepted. Foldable table at living room is to be handle with care and so is the shelving, can’t put too much heavy stuff on them. Sofa bed in the living room can sleep 1 adult and 1 kid (age 2-9). 2 bathroom and 2 showers are all separated great for hygiene. Love the round coffee table which is good as kids will not hit and have bump easily. Have a fridge in the room with induction and kettle and complimentary coffee and tea. Rest of stuff are chargeable. Will stay again at this hotel for my next Batam travel. Highly recommended for...
