BARESTO CAFE BCS Lantai 1 — Restaurant in Batam City

Just came back to Batam after two years and was shocked at how much the standard has dropped. The food tasted awful completely lacking in flavour and nothing like how it used to be. The staff were disorganised and service was poor.

I first visited the outlet at Mega Mall and was so disappointed. I thought maybe it was just that branch, so I gave the one at BCS a try but it was just as bad. The cooking, flavour, and overall experience were a huge letdown.

This is a franchise cafe you can find at most if not all malls in Batam, but I like it, when busy the service can be a little slow, but you expect that when it is nearly full. I have limited Bahasa and staff limited English you can get by as the menu is pictures, the food is good even though it sometimes doesn't look like the picture!
