The place is dirty like hell. We booked the stilt house and everything went wrong. Swimming pool was out of order, plenty of algae (see pix). WiFi went down on day 2. Cockroaches and wasp in the bathroom. Noisy and sick stray dogs all-over the property. They bring their skin diseases on the sofas where they are regulars (see pix). They fight and bark around all night long. Forget peacefulness. And it’s a remote area. You got to walk a long time in unwelcoming dark streets to come back. The people are so kind, even when overly demanding guests are complaining. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Very spacious. Only issue was getting hot water from shower.
