Grya Pasir Ukir Homestay — Hotel in Denpasar Selatan

The place is dirty like hell. We booked the stilt house and everything went wrong. Swimming pool was out of order, plenty of algae (see pix). WiFi went down on day 2. Cockroaches and wasp in the bathroom. Noisy and sick stray dogs all-over the property. They bring their skin diseases on the sofas where they are regulars (see pix). They fight and bark around all night long. Forget peacefulness. And it’s a remote area. You got to walk a long time in unwelcoming dark streets to come back. Stayed here for 1 night in early September prior to heading to Nusa Lembongan.||Decent place to stay if you have an early start and don't want to hassle with transfers to the port. You are paying a price premium for the location over other homestays, but it's not a lot of money for the convenience.||We stayed in the villa closest to the entrance, room was nice and large, but the noise of dogs barking at night kept us awake. If you need a place to stay overnight to either catch or come off the ferry, you're within 200 meters. This is s homestay so don't expect amenities like room service or a bar/, restaurant but you can't beat the price/value.

The people are so kind, even when overly demanding guests are complaining. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Very spacious. Only issue was getting hot water from shower.
