Overall impression and Experience: (4/5) VERY GOOD This was my second time in Jakarta and my first time at Oakwood Suites La Maison Jakarta

which is located at Jl. Barito II no. 56, Jakarta 12130 Indonesia. Oakwood Suites La Maison Jakarta Hotel is a 5 stars hotel and it offers 80 units of luxurious one, two, and three-bedroom apartments. Jakarta Soekarno Hatta Airport is located more than 32.2 km from Oakwood Suites La Maison Jakarta. However, it might take you 2 hours to reach the hotel in traffic. Each apartment has a living room with a kitchen, a microwave, and a fridge. The living room and master bedroom have a satellite flat-screen TV, ironing facilities, a desk, and a seating area with a sofa. Below the hotel, there is a small supermarket at which you can buy your daily grocery as well as there is a restaurant and Starbucks.

We booked a three-bedroom apartment with breakfast for three people and one complimentary extra bed. The size of the 3-bedroom apartment is around 169m2. Our apartment has 3 rooms, a living room with a kitchen, a total of 2 bathrooms, and one small toilet in the living room. There is a washing machine which made our days. rooms are very clean and well maintained. The towels are clean but very old. Guests at the apartment are offered an à la carte breakfast with a very small portion. We get pasta, hotdogs, eggs, and fresh orange juice. Our offer had 3 breakfasts only. However, we were offered 7 breakfasts. Many thanks go to Devi, assistant front office manager for the extra free 4 breakfast. We were also offered an extra bed free of charge. You will never have any noise from the nearby apartment and you would have full privacy on your floor.

The downside of this hotel is the noise from the street. Although we were offered an apartment on 23rd floor, we suffered from the noise and we could not sleep because we hear the noise of the motorbikes. The hotel management tried their best to offer earplugs as well as send the technician to close the windows, however, noise still reaches your apartment and you would suffer especially if you are a light sleeper. I do recommend having soundproof windows to fix this issue!
