2nd time visit to find out what the queue is all about because our first visit was average at its best.
It made our perspective even worse. The product is just bad. Plenty of better ramen shops out there.
Our tonkotsu ramen came out with a slight sour taste. Sent it back to the kitchen and got the exact same broth. Maybe it's the low quality pork bone that gives it the sour taste.
We also ordered shio ramen. It definitely tasted like MSG. Like those chicken stock cubes or powdered bonito flavorings.
The noodle is also similar to those low quality mie ayam shop.
Service? Illogical. The bar was empty but we couldn't sit there and needed to wait for an hour because it's meant only for those who came alone. So we changed our names on the list, and said that we came alone. Done, we instantly got a table at the bar.
Cleanliness is really, really bad. The kitchen was dirty. The toilet was dirty. The sink needed deep cleaning. The overall place looks like it needed a proper renovation (chipped walls, dirty wallpaint, bad lighting).
Will I come back the 3rd time? Definitely not. Will I suggest people that are in line to go and try better ramen out there? Yes. But if you haven't tried it, do give them a visit. So you'll have a perspective of what is a good ramen and...
Read moreOrder: Gyoza Salmon Roll Sushi Ramen Gila (Spicy ramen with different spicy level, Level 1 to 3) - I ordered the level 2
After almost 1,5 hours waiting time, we finally got a table. It was a quite busy day, Saturday evening (what can I say) But anyway, I will start with the gyoza. I personally don't like the gyoza, it was a little bit too dry and the filling tasted quite strange, not like a standard gyoza. The salmon roll tasted not bad at all, but unfortunately at that evening the salmon was not fresh, the color changed already. Finally I come to the ramen, I would recommend this ramen but don't order it too spicy. The broth is made with pork and very delicious with quite strong taste from a lot of garlics. The meat was very tender and the noodles were cooked perfectly. Additionally I ordered also the japanese egg, as you can see in the picture. If you go there, I would recommend you to order this egg as an extra topping for the ramen. The egg had a perfect consistency and was cut perfectly.
So if you want to eat ramen, I would recommend this shop, but if you are in the mood to eat sushi, I would suggest you to find a better restaurant for sushi.

I ordered the chicken ramen (and gila ramen for my friend). It has a strange Indomie-styled noodle. The soup is savory but from the salt, not from the broth. The chicken slices are fried chicken dipped into the ramen, a little bit half-cooked.
Biggest offender is the ebi gyoza though. Do look at the picture. Why does it look like that? The taste is just OK but it's not the most appealing visually.
I also ordered salmon sashimi. It's OK, just "cold" and not that savory, but this is a ramen restaurant so I don't expect a lot.
They said Japanese expats usually go here but I only see Indonesians mostly. The smoking room is crowded though. Place is just a-ok, it's an old-styled "rumah makan". A little bit worn out but I have no complaints about the place itself.
One waitress is a little bit rude, not even a confirmation of what we ordered. But it's late (11 PM) so maybe she's just tired.
For the experience and taste,...
